That is still circular reasoning. If you want to get rid off hate the only logical solution is to stop it. This is how wars begin by people focusing more on their differences than what makes them similar. It's funny how all of the main Bosnian religions have a common source in the myth of Abraham, but no one for a second thinks of that when they decided to hate on another person. It's surprising how easily men can be persuaded to kill one another. Here's two quotes that summon up the political problems in the Balkans and the world over.

They bring up the Turks because they view all non-Christians in the area as "sell-outs." What they don't realize is that modern Bosniaks are descendants of non-Christians even before Islam, haha.

Turks treated the Christians well, they were the ones that brought Serbs to Bosnia, believe it or not.

The problem in BiH is that politics is part of every aspect of life, including sports. Neutrals can't just go to a mach anymore and feel safe, which is incredibly sad and unfair.

I think, if the NT can somehow make a big spectacle like qualifying and doing well, it could unite us somewhat.

There are a lot of inaccuracies in that guys statement, so much so that the average person who doesn't know much about the BALKAN region should be skeptical of it.

I hate discussing ideologies and politics, it always divides people. That's why I try not to associate myself with any part or fall for any propaganda.

    KAPITULACIJA ILI ODLUKA ZA
    POZDRAVITI?

    Piše: A. Beganović
    Subota, 08.10.11. 09:30.

    http://sportsport.ba/bh_fudbal/kapitulacija-ili-odluka-za-pozdraviti/65796

The away fans have been banned until the start of the second half of the season. For the second year in a row we will not see Sarajevo fans in the derby game against Zeljeznicar.

Not that I support any violence nor do I know if the Hajduk fans were Torcida from Split or Hajduk fans from Bosnia or both (different sites say different things) but Zeljo fans clashed with the visiting fans and chased them away, beating up a few fans and even throwing some in Miljacka or they were hiding in the miljacka river. That's what i read on index.hr. I don't know how much truth is in it.

If you wanna see the video, (warning to all: there is ugly violence) youtube Manijaci vs. Torcida (video lasts 15 minutes)

It is sad to do and see things like these. What to expect in next games? If Bosnia meets Serbia, Montenegro or Croatia in playoffs, there should be more police officers than fans.

Sad ex-yu reality. Looks like they might implement games without fans in Bosnia in order to stop this nonsense

Sad state of events when we can't even have a proper Zeljo - Sarajevo derby.

Just watched it, wow I was totally wrong.

I counted at least a dozen or so cases where Zeljo fans knocked a Croatian fan out and kept kicking him while he was down unconsious, disturbing shit.

A weird thing I caught towards the begining of the video was a Manijak carrying around a branch as a weapon. It wasn't one of those wood, hard branches, but one of those limp ficus tree branches where it's all leaf. What was he planing to do, tickle some Torcida members to death?

Over all a pretty disturbing video.

    I warned ya.

IDK about that tree branch but kicking those people on the ground is disturbing and scary too.

LMAO his mom told him to go get a prut from the trees. So was there ever an answer about the makeup of the Croatian hooligans? Now I'm hearing it was 50/50 local scum/Torcida fans.

Last I heard, it was mostly local scum (Siroki Brijeg, Mostar, and the like). I heard the buses heading out from Split and Dalmacia didn't even make it to Sarajevo at that time.

There were probably some Croatian fans (the ones that are actually from Croatia) there that came by on their own means, but most of them were Hercegovina Croats.

It never fails to amaze me how much hate there is, even among the young people in Bosnia, the people that are supposed to be liberal and accepting. Its disgusting really, especially since it spilled over into the sports arena.

BTW, Dodik (Dodo Dick) wished that we beat France for some reason. Probably just covering up for his ordered hooliganism activities.

It's hard to be liberal and accepting in a post war country that is filled with 3 ethnicities that just don't want to be together.

Each group thinks the other group hates tham, so they return the hate.

    LMAO about the branch.

Sorry guys I'm being the bad guy here, but those fans that got kicked deserved it. They were the ones coming over looking for trouble, looking for ways to cause violence and even disrupt our atmosphere coming into the game against France. What were the Zeljo fans supposed to do.. just stay there and watch? ******** that **********.

I'm just afraid a bunch of Serbs or Croats may disguise themselves as Bosnian fans and throw flares in the game against France to register a 3-0 win for France.

I agree, the HS hooligans knew what they were getting into, knew they were outnumbered, and still they thought they could get away with rioting in an opposing club's city.

But still, it's pretty difficult watching some of those images.

    See for yourself:

Our upcoming match is against another team fighting for a top five spot, Olimpic. I think this'll really be an even battle, and this could even be a preview of the Kup final?? :D lol Anyways on a serious note, bar injuries, this match - in my opinion - will end up like this:

    Velez 1-1 Olimpic

This would really be a good result for both teams. After this match, we face off against the poor quality Zrinjski, a team that can't take a loss as it is. Should be an easy win for us as we'll be relaxed currently leading on aggregate, 3-0. Add that to the fact we're playing at home in front of the Red Army and tha equals:

    Velez 2-0 Zrinjski

Anything less than a decisive win as I've shown above and I'll be dissapointed, but I'll keep in mind that we're still pretty much into the next round. :D Oh, and you guys better be rooting for the real champions of Mostar (Velez for those of you who don't know) or else... :D

There were so many people I couldn't really tell, but if you're talking about the guy with the black pants and the white coat, he was wearing a black bandana on his face.
