took advantage of restaurant week last night downtown and overheard some college kids talking about it.

They thought it was at the tennis center though. I figured I'd let them find out

3 courses for $30? by the time you get an app, entree, and dessert at Applebee's your in $30 bucks easily. We went to Cyprus and I had an nice Charcuterie with homemade salami, pastrami, cappa and Mordelo with fresh pickles and biscuits to start with followed by a duo of beef and an awesome molten chocolate cake to finish it off with.

there are more than 80 restaurants with that offer this week and is a great chance to try some places I've wanted to go.

I would like to know why the Big South Conference would hold their women’s championships at Blackbaud Stadium following the concert. The filed was in horrible condition!

The Big south conference should have had a stipulation in their contract with Blackbaud with regard to field conditions … the field was HORRIBLE! Someone from the conference should have checked field conditions a couple weeks prior to the tournament, I am certain that there would have been several Universities that would have stepped up to host on a last minute basis … possibly allow the top seeds first option. Radford’s (#1 seed) stadium would clearly have been better, and if for reasons passing understanding they did not want to host the tournament Winthrop, Campbell … certainly would have!

it was in pristine condition right before the concerts...we didn't play on it tonight and are now off of it until December, so the winter rye can take hold.

we played on it Thursday night, all lush and green. It's still a little sandy, kind of annoying on headers, when the field is wet from the dew.

A beautiful stadium, if only it was ‘lush & green’ for the BST … WTH I would have settled for lush OR green … thin and brown is no way to play a conference tournament!
