    I think Portugal will be awesome for 2012 Euro. C. Ronaldo with 2 years of Jose Mourinio will make him a leader "For once" And no more Ferreira will be a plus. 2014 will be our strongest team since 2000. But this is all in the future right? lol

    Very optimistic 23. I still think Ferreira, Carvalho and Simao will be in the mix.

    Can't see Yazalde making it unless he improves tremendously in the next few years. and Nelson?

    No doubt! This team is gonna look young. 2018 is the year Mourinho takes OVER:D

    Portugal is long overdue. Ad like I said, we're close to the title.... just need that fire in Ronaldo to be more active and play as a team leader. Individuals to not win games: teamwork does!

    Hmmm Greece as done nothing since, luck is luck. Portugal played better that game, but that's soccer one corner and boom it's all over. Thanks to C. Ronaldo who was way to young to play in that Tournament in my opinion. He gave them that corner and it was the first corner they got all game. That's sport and life. C. Ronaldo being coached by Mourinho for the next two years will hopefully turn him into a true Leader.... If he can't do that, then no one will.

    Has the FPF announced the stadiums yet for the home games? Think I'm finally going to take a trip to Portugal and see a game in person.

    Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying Draw.

    Paulo Bento named the roster for the game against Cyprus. Bento must have something against Bosingwa because he's left out again despite starting regularly for Chelsea ahead of Ivanovic.

    Guarda-redes: Eduardo (Benfica), Quim (SC Braga) e Rui Patrício (Sporting);

    Defesas: Bruno Alves (Zenit), Fábio Coentrão (Real Madrid), Rolando (FC Porto), João Pereira (Sporting), Pepe (Real Madrid), Ricardo Carvalho (Real Madrid), Sílvio (Atlético de Madrid) e Eliseu (Málaga);

    Médios: André Santos (Sporting), João Moutinho (FC Porto), Raul Meireles (Liverpool), Rúben Micael (Saragoça), Miguel Veloso (Génova) e Paulo Machado (Toulouse);

    Avançados: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Danny (Zenit), Hélder Postiga (Sporting), Hugo Almeida (Besiktas), Nani (Manchester United) e Varela (FC Porto)

    Shame it's not a friendly, would like to see how Eliseu does as a LB. He plays regularly for Malaga in that position after all.

    Anyway I hope the XI is something like:

    -----------------------------------R. Patrício-----------------------------------

    J. Pereira-------------R. Carvalho-----------Pepe-----------------F. Coentrão

    ------------------------------------A. Santos-----------------------------------

    -----------------------Moutinho--------------R. Meireles-----------------------

    C. Ronaldo----------------------------------------------------------------Nani

    -------------------------------------Postiga------------------------------------

    So Bosingwa has been one of Chelsea's best players in the opening salvo of matches in the EPL and he's still not called?

    Me thinks there's some beef going on....

    How does Veloso and Machado warrant a call up with Castro out?

    Bosingwa had a wicked assist last weekend to win the game for Chelsea and he's left out? Hopefully it's only for now because I prefer Bosingwa over Pereira now that he's looking to have gained his form back.

    One swallow (or two) does not make a summer. Bos looks like he might be back (which is great news), but he needs a few more good games before he takes someone else's place IMO.

    Im not so sure I could handle having an Italian coaching my NT. Mind you, could you imagine him coaching us to a victory over Italy. That would be funny.

    That being said. I think it would be too weird for me. Im on the no side.

    If Mourinho wins the Spanish League and and CL with Real Madrid this season he might take it, not taking any chances with managing a Portugal team that could be weaker than this one in the future...
