    Still disagree.

    Bale is extremely over rated.

He's just fast. That's it, I had to watch the Spurs all season last year, did not understand the hype behind him.

Tottenham had a bad season last year, apart from the CL run where he excelled. He also had some injury problems so it's understandable considering some of the expectations on him. He's still a major talent and any side would be lucky to have him.

    Major talent yes.

    Over rated yes.

I am not saying he is not good, but people we're slobbering all over him last year and I couldn't see why.

I like Lennon tho, good player.

80% of those highlights were of him running with the ball.

Doesn't take anything special to our run someone.

Modric makes him look much better since he feeds him the ball constantly.

He doesn't ''make'' plays... He just runs....

Most of his crosses are in areas which the defense should do much better at clearing.

He's good, but not 30 mil good.

    Your probably right...

The market is so inflated that at this point what used to be 15 mil is 30 now.

    Nope, he's 50 mil good.

    Carrollol - 35 mil

    Bale - 50 mil

    Ronaldo - 80 mil

    Messi - 250 mil

All works out in today's market.

Anyone who buys him for 50 mil is a fool.

You are paying Aguero money right there and I am pretty sure Aguero is better then Bale even if they play different positions.

Ronaldo and Messi I can understand.

Carrol has yet to prove his price tag. So I don't know what I would put him at.

Alright... if messi is 250 Mil then Ronaldo is at least 200 mil... Come on Ronaldo had a better season then Messi last year statistically.

In what way? Both scored 53 goals, Messi had more assists and more titles as well.

Last night, Messi was two classes above him as well, so he is comfortably the best player in the world. Potentially the best ever as well.

I just named Ronaldo's price tag when he moved to Real, I would rate him at 120 mil maybe but he just can't beat defenders and dribble anymore like before.

    That's a pretty wild statement.

Remember, it's all relative. In EPL, it was easier dribbling past players because for the most part, the EPL defenders are hacks who happen to run fast - Ronaldo was just faster. In the Spanish league, the defenders work on more tactical ways of closing down attacking players, so it gives the illusion that Ronaldo is no longer as good of a dribbler - what's funny about that is that he still is a phenomenal dribbler.

    34 games, 40 goals, 13 assists...

If Messi's worth 250 million, Ronaldo's at least 200. And if Ronaldo is ~200, then Ozil is around 150.

BTW, don't complain about the huge price tags of these players. They cost this much because of the economics of football - things like demands, tv rights, jerseys, popularity of the sport, etc. make all this reality.

The only reason why messi won more titles is because he is in a settled team. Real Madrid still needs time to gel but you'll see in the coming years Real will be much much larger of a challenge.

Did we not just discuss Ibisevic going to an EPL club?

DID WE NOT JUST DO THAT!?!?!

Keane must have been browsing the forum...

He'll do well at Blackburn, I just know it.

BTW, Hoffenheim still haven't offered Salihovic a new contract and there's word he'll also be leaving. Maybe he'll come to the EPL as well.

I would not be surprised if Blackburn tried to pick him up as well.

However I can see Salihovic moving to the EPL.

Salihovic is a EPL type of player. Strong, keeps the ball well, excellent from set pieces, fights for the ball.

    He won't be the last.

So if Ibisevic moves we've got:

    Asmir Begovic - Stoke City

    Edin Dzeko - Manchester City

    Haris Vuckic - Newcastle

    Sead Hajrovic - Arsenal

    Vedad Ibisevic - Blackburn Rovers

Oh my god. I just screamed on the parking lot when I heard this. Grabbed alot of attention lol.

This is an awesome move for him, but Blackburn need to get rid of Kean above all. He's the most clueless manager in the league, and many predict he will be the first one to get sacked. Ffs he even lost at home to Wolves.
