Hey sorry for the late reply. In New York, the Bosnians are scattered but most people from the Balkans end up meeting in Astoria, Queens. I lived in NYC for a while. Good people. What used to be held as religion is being used today as a way to separate people. Muslims stick with Muslims, Serbs with Serbs etc etc. I am actually half Muslim and Half Serb, there were plenty of interracial marriages before the war. Those were the first casualties of the war. As for buildings, there is 'Old Town' which is filled with Ottoman architecture. Bosnia is very similar to Turkey in that sense. Mostar held the oldest bridge in Europe until it was blown up in the war and then rebuilt just recently. I believe in '04-'05. Something like that. As for the infrastructure of the country, it is mainly run by crooked politicians, dirty cops and new age mobsters. Many of whom came to power through the aftermath of the war. However it is non the less a very lovely country with all sorts of country side. You have farms, mountains, waterfalls, rivers, rock climbing mountains, trails and anything you can think of to do with the outdoors. Also in winter the entire country becomes blanketed with snow and looks gorgeous. The olympics were held there in '86 I believe. As for signature dishes, there is pita, cevapi, pljeskavice (sp) and burek. There are countless others but those just popped into my head. Pita is a hand rolled 'pie' that is filled with anything ranging from meat to cheese to spinach. Cevapi and pljeskavice are meats. Burek is a word for a meat filled pita. Beer, we only have one, Sarajevska. It is one of the leading beers in the Balkans and tastes like piss. Goes great with cevapi tho. It was first made in 1868 I believe and has slowly been improving year after year. Bosnian cafe's exist, however it would be no different then a normal cafe. What makes it unique is the Bosnian love of Turkish coffee (very strong coffee which at the end you will see the residue of the coffee bean) and cigarettes. We will sip on one small cup of coffee and smoke an entire pack of Aura cigarettes and talk for hours. At the end we usually tip worse then Jews and tell the waiter that the coffee was disgusting. Men for some reason flock to women over there as if a Siren was calling them. Before they know it they end up on sharp rocks known as marriage and family. That's why I tend to stay away from Bosnian girls. They will enslave you before you say 'Get off of me!'.
It gets difficult to pull it all out of memory. I have so much useless information in my head that I don't know what do with it all. Point and case with the whole vaginal canal thing.
I wish. Btw did you see that Italy beat Spain 2-1? Plus Torres suffered a concussion and might not play the beginning of the Premier? Great stuff. Also Tevez is going to Inter on loan since Eto'o is moving to some Russian side to be the highest payed player in the world, clocking in at 300k per week. This opens up the doors for Nasri to come over from Arsenal. Talk about a crazy/awesome transfer for City.
My serve is the problem, everything else is fine.. I have too much power but not enough accuracy. Anyways, forum is doing well. 500 posts in like 2 days, and the whole Croat and Serb forums have 2500 posts each
My serve is almost impossible to return, lol. I always use my accuracy to hit it to their weaker hand. My weak hand is definitely my problem, and next time I play, I'll use two hands when the ball comes on my left (my weaker hand).
I was wondering the same thing, PonosBosne. If you want to see how many posts someone has, you have to go to their porfile, then statistics. There, you'll see how many posts, posts per day someone has. A quick question guys, why was BHEurosport banned? I wasn't here when it happened, and I just wanted to know.
