With Dominic Maroh it´s the same like it was with Mintal.

A good defender but not good enough for the starting eleven.

With him in the background the club can have a good feeling. But Maroh want´s to play - the chances get less and less. So it is no wonder that he thinks about changing. Martin Bader has already told, that he would let him go if an other club will show interest.

I think it is not so easy for the club. Of course Wollscheid and Nilsson are well and good defenders. But they need a player like Maroh as replacement.
It is like I alway said: What a pitty, that there is no Andy Wolf anymore !

Now I look foreward to the first game in DFB-Pokal against Bielefeld on Saturday 03.30 pm (08.30 am in your country)

    ;)

Simons must be the rock in the midfield. He is the veteran and one of the few midfield regulars from last year. Has Hecking decided on the captaincy yet? I have not been following. To me it should be Simons or Schafer....I prefer the field player tho.

Oh, happy day !!!!!!!!!!:D and a day of surprises (Wolfsburg, Bremen, Leverkusen out - and all played against no-named teams)

    Feulner made the difference.

Wolf with a horror match with Bremen. Concedes a penalty and made another mistake on the 2nd goal.

Incredible. All three sublime strikes from well outside the box. Probably the third was the best struck but wow all three were great.

When I read Feulner scored 3 from outside the 18, I thought the GK may have not been the best, but after seeing the video, those were howitzers. There certainly were alot of Bielefeld fans disguised as empty seats.

Shouldn't there be a new thread for the 2011/2012 season?

I thought the same thing, but those were canon blasts. Very impressive start.
