The most balanced group, Croatia, Serbia, Belgium and Scotland all have chances. Im giving the new belgian generation a strong believe, specially in Hazard, Chadli, Lukaku attack. My Picks: 1- Belgium 2- Croatia
My early prediction is that this will be the group which has the "worst" 2nd place finisher. And thus get eliminated straight away. That's the biggest flaw with the current UEFA qualifying format the most IMO. A team is thrown to the bin despite not doing any worse than the other 2nd place finishers.
i don't know if I agree with that. The team that will be the worst 2nd place will be in a group where the leader doesn't give anything AND the 4th and 5th place teams steal quite a few points. My pick is going to be group H.
Belgium has also great defensive players: Thomas Vermaelen, Toby Alderweireld, Daniel Van Buyten, Jan Vertonghen. In midfield Belgium has: Marouane Fellaini, Jelle Van Damme. I think that Croatia will achieve dominant first place here. Croatian national football team: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croatia_national_football_team Croatia lost only once at home in qualifications in 14 years maybe. Here are our results in last 21 years in Croatian language: SAD is USA, others I think you undertand. http://www.hns-cff.hr/?ln=hr&w=statistike&d=rezultati
Scotland got worse second place in earlier qualifications, they were with Netherlands in the same group. I think that this was for South Africa qualifications.
Only a month or so until the qualifiers kick off. How do you guys think this group will turn out now that it's almost game time?
Croatia - Luka Modric (Tottenham - offensive midfielder) Serbia - Neven Subotic (Borussia Dortmuind - central defender/center back) Belgium - Eden Hazard (Chelsea - forward) That group is good, but i think top 3 will be : 1. Croatia 2.Belgium 3.Serbia
Are Belgium going to be different this time or will they fail to qualify for yet another tournament? This hyped EPL generation will have to prove it this time because 2016 will be a no-brainer with 24 countries qualifying. If they want to prove their worth they should be 1st in this group.
Are Croatia and Serbia going to actually play each other home/away? Or on neutral ground. Home/away actually sounds potentially dangerous...
