Brazil (host) Spain (FIFA 2010 World Cup champion) Japan (AFC Nations Champion) Mexico (CONCACAF Gold Cup Champion 2011 Copa America Winner 2012 UEFA Eurocup Winner 2013 OFC Nations Cup 2013 CAF Nation's Cup This tournament has the making to be a classic edition. You have to like Argentina's chances at home, but even if they lose I see Uruguay. Having Argentina or Uruguay in the tournament will make it that much more visible. I see Portugal and the Netherlands as the finalists of the Eurocup. I'm hoping England. France and Italy are in rebuilding phase. Germany has a lot of skill.
This is going to be a great tournament. The 2005+/- 3 years generation will be just entering their prime age from a physical standpoint so it will be an interesting measuring tournament for us.
This tournament will surely be the most competitive and best Confederations Cup ever!!!!!!!! There will surely be 4 world class NT`s this time instead of just 3 like in 09 and 05 because this time Brazil is the host and not South Africa. And because Greece won`t win the EuroCup. Surely the best player in the world, going through the best moment of his career Messi and Argentina will be in it. I`m thinking maybe Germany or Holland from Europe. Japan is a step up from Irak from 09(how the heck did Irak win the Asain Cup?!). Mexico is a better team than the yanks in 09. Mexico will have 2 world class nt`s in their group, The question is will the third opponent be a good one like Japan or a less difficult one like New Zealand?
I am for sure gonna go to the Confederations Cup in Brasil 2013 I hope Mexico has a game in Cuzeiro staduim cause I have not been to that part of Brasil yet just Rio but I have a big feeling Mexico will be playing in Sao Paulo. If any of you guys go to the Confederations Cup in Brasil don't say I didn't warn you Brasilian woman are smoking hot they put the woman here in the usa to shame on the real! I have been to Rio about 6 times in my life so far and am looking to go back for another adventure.
The qualified teams in my predictions are: Ghana for Africa, New Zealand for Oceania, Holland for EURO, Uruguay for SA (I'm not gonna say Argentina cos I hate them with a passion) Plus already qualified teams Mexicooooooo, brazil, spain and Nippon. It would be great if Mexico could repeat 99. But semifinales is what at least I'm expecting given the talent we have now I'm hoping we can upset the world class teams like Brazil or Uruguay and sneak in to Semis
If I may ask, what is the general attitude of many of the brasilenas like? Are they very catty? Bossy? Bipolar? Just wondering I sure hope we implement a serious project for the next two years with the purpose of WINNING this Cup and throwing the gauntlet to the rest of the world that we will mean serious buisness in the 2014 WC
Most Brasilenas are really cool their down to earth and you don't have to worry about their figures for they are gods gift to men. By no means are they catty, bossy or lol bipolar their friendly and love foreigners or tourist. If Mexico has any games in Rio De Janeiro you guys be sure to visit Buzio's or Cabos Frio they are beautiful beaches in Rio also you can visit Angre Dos Ries as well also do not miss out on eating some good Churrasco and picanha. The weather during the Confederations Cup will be Brasil's winter so it might be alittle rainy as they are opposite of the USA's summer.
Add Uruguay to the Copa Confederations Cup in Brasil. 3 Spots left Geez this Tournament is gonna be stacked with good teams....with the OFC team probably being the exception. It will most likely be New Zealand since Australia was moved to the AFC.
Prediction on the way the groups will be drawn Group A Brasil germany ( Their squad is full of talent) Japon (AFC Concacaf are put on the same bowl) New Zealand (big ass cupcake for Brasil) Group B Spain Uruguay Mexico Ghana (US boogeyman)
I hope we get that group. I want a shot at the 'Guashos again. Looks like an epic group for us. Anyone in Brazil's group will be the easier one.
I wish we would get this group: Group B Spain (Villa/Puyol/Xavi/Torres will be older) Uruguay (Forlan will be way old) Mexico New Zealand
Regardless of the grouping combination this tourney willl benefit the NT alot more than any series of partidos moleros the femexfut could dream of conceiving.
