FIFA Soccer 12 brings to the pitch the game-changing new Player Impact Engine, a physics engine built to deliver real-world physicality in every interaction on the pitch. Revolutionary gameplay innovations inspired by the real-world of soccer make FIFA Soccer 12 deeper and more engaging.

All-new Precision Dribbling delivers a higher fidelity of touch on the ball for attacking players, while Tactical Defending fundamentally changes the approach to defending by placing equal importance on positioning, intercepting passes and tackling. Plus, CPU players have been infused with Pro Player Intelligence, the next generation of player intelligence and performance. Stay tuned for more features to be announced in the coming months.

Player Impact Engine - Two years in development, the new physics engine is built to deliver real-world physicality in every interaction on the pitch. Experience an infinite variety of natural and believable outcomes in every contact.

Pro Player Intelligence - CPU players have been infused with self-awareness and aptitude, enabling them to make decisions based on their own skills as well as the strengths and attributes of their teammates.
Tactical Defending - Fundamentally changes the approach to defending by placing equal importance on positioning, intercepting passes and tackling at the right moment. Tactics and timing are crucial.
Precision Dribbling - Enjoy new ways to take on opponents, more time on the ball to make decisions, and complete control of the pace of the game. Utilize close dribble touches in tight spaces, on the wings, and even while fending off an opponent.
True Injuries - The Player Impact Engine monitors contact between players in real-time, analyzing the force of the collision and impact on the body to detect real injuries, creating a deeper more challenging Career Mode.

Personally I am very very excited for this game to come out. So excited that I might even buy a PS3 to play this while at school. I love the series (not so much fifa 11 but fifa 09 and fifa 10). If you like the fifa franchise you should also check out PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) it isnt that bad of an alternative to the game. Nevertheless I am totally stoked for this...

Later today(7/21 @7pm EST) I'm doing a live audio interview with Aaron McHardy, the gameplay producer from FIFA 12 and I was wondering if there were any specific questions you guys would like answered about the game? You can listen and be in the chat room at chat.allgames.com to submit questions or post them here.

As I have stated in the MLS forums, I am tired of EA & FIFA with there stadium issues. I was shocked when FIFA 11 came out, due to the fact that it didn't feature one stadium from FIFA: World Cup 2010. They already have the stadiums created for the video game world, so why couldn't they just transfer at least ONE of them over. Then they only feature one stadium from North America. Yet they have 4 stadiums created in the video game world. (RFK Stadium, Gillette Stadium, Century-Link Field, & where ever the Dynamo's play). I'm just sick & tired using the USMNT & having to play in Estadio De Las Artes, or using the Union & having to play in a generic stadium. I personally feel that some of the MLS stadiums are top quality (Pink Bulls Arena, PPL Park, KC, Home Depot Center), yet they will only add BC Palace to FIFA 12. I wish they made it a free download for more stadiums, since the main issue is disk space.
Anyways, enough with the bitching on the stadiums. I like the new ranking system FIFA 12 has. It sounds like the same system that FIFA WC 2010 uses, except it will be kept updated. Would love to see some no name clubs be at the top of the list for most used/represented.

So excited for this game. The jump from Fifa 10 to 11 was a big one to me and hopefully this is the same.

Why did they delete the Home Depot Center? It was in 09 or 10 I believe, and then taken out of 11....:(

It wasn't in 2009 or 2010. How do I know? Because I own the last 4 FIFA created games for 360. If you still only own a PS2, it is in there.

True. I still live in the past. Didn't bother to think that they wouldn't have put the effort into the next gen, which is even more inexcusable.

to put it simply FIFA 11 sucked...FIFA 10 is the best then FIFA 09...FIFA 12 should take the number 1 seat when its released if what they are saying is going to happen...happens.

I never found those videos accurate enough compared to actual gameplay.

I'm looking forward to more stadiums, better crowd, better commentary, and a not flawed manager mode. If anything, the manager mode in Fifa 11 is what completely ruined the game for me. I remember I had a player with 20 goals on the season but his attributes kept dropping. So hopefully there are no attribute flaws and the player progression actually functions correctly. That AND more micromanaging in the manager mode. I could go on and on, but let's not do that.

Yeah it's total bullcrap, FIFA 12 is same as FIFA 10 just with slightly better graphics.

    hahaha good vid man.
In a way it is true and in a way it's not true. Comparing Fifa 12 to 10, the CPU is so much more intelligent and many of the "jostling" and "tackling" in the previous fifa 10 is heavily polished to make the bugs which pissed us all off gone for the most part.

When you could shoot the ball from the goalies box and make it at the other end? Is that what you miss, the most?:rolleyes: haha.
