Jeju 2-3 Gyeongnam (FT) Didnt watch the match but Ive been keeping my eye on the match throughout. Yoon Il Rok had one of the best matches ever. He kept running non-stop and eventually scored one for himself. He was involved in Yoon Bitgaram's FK goal, and he eventually assisted a goal for Kim In Han after nice dribbling. Yoon Il Rok - 2011 K-league season 3 goals 5 assists, and only 19 years of age. Yoon Il Rok will definately be named in the K-league best 11 for round 17. Guys...we are looking at the new star of K-league, or in fact, the Korea. Pohang 7-0 Dajeon (FT) This is so slack of Dajeon Citizens whom recently fired a manager that was underrated but as the match-fixing made him lose nearly half of his players, there was no choice but to sack him. Kim Jae Sung was noticeably the standout for Pohang. Even RB Shin Kwang Hoon scored and the oldest field player in K-league Park Gi Dong scored. Gwangju 2-0 Gangwon Lee Seung Ki scored two goals...I named him in the K-league young talent thread Daegu 2-3 Busan Seoul 0-1 Sangju (HT) Its a bloodbath this match. Players are going down with blood everywhere...Anyway, the Sangju goalie, who is a field player is doing well. Dejan should have scored a goal but the Sangju players are throwing their bodies to stop. Kim Jung Woo scored the penalty, and I have to say Kim Jung Woo scores the most fanciest penalty kick in K-league. In half time, Djeparov said goodbye to FC Seoul fans. It was nice to see.
Dejan is the best! 2 goals to make it 2-1. I still do not understand how Ko Myung Jin is never used by Cho Kwang Rae. He wants midfielders that know how to make 세밀한 passing. Well, Ko Myung Jin is an offensively upgraded version of Ki Sung Yeung that also knows how to dribble. Ah...Sangju equalize with a class FK by Kim Min Soo. Hahahahaah what a finish to the match! Bang Seung Hwan scores to make it 3-2 Bang Bang Bang!!
Man, f*cking Gyeongnam... how did my Jeju boys lose the 2-0 lead?!?!?! At home ground too... And it's very sad to see Djeparov leaving... I thought that 3-year contract he signed with Seoul was going to last. Hope he comes back to the K-League in the near future! And at Pohang's 7-0 thrashing of Daejeon. I see Pohang is trying to be Korea's FC Barcelona, just without all the diving and crying you see from Barca players.
I was at the Seoul-Sangju game... Felt bad for that goalkeeper during warmups, he looked like he had no idea what he was doing.
I'm going to miss Djeparov. :'( Was one of the best mid in the K-League, but does this mean that FC Seoul is going to play in AFC Champions League without him? Oh well Mauricio Molina nows has more opportunities to play.
Choi Tae Euk is coming back from injury as well so I wouldn't worry about it. FC Seoul is stacked in the midfield anyways. About Molina.... what a bust
can anyone confirm this? correct me if im wrong but if its true this is the biggest transfer value in K-League history?
The 8 million is most likely BS, but if there's any Uzbek player who is good enough to have a transfer value of that amount, it's Djeparov. He's a great playmaker, great partner for Dejan and pure class. I'm really going to miss him, and I'm now going to pay extra attention to the Uzbek NT just so I can continue seeing him play. Will probably buy his #88 jersey as well. ^^
Ok, so SBS ESPN, MBC Sports Plus and KBSn Sports are not showing the K-League Cup Final live on the 13th (7pm KST), due to their continued obsession with boring crap called "Korean baseball". MBC and KBS are showing the recorded match at midnight, and SBS is showing it at 11pm KST. Only if the scheduled baseball games are canceled, will they show the Cup Final at its actual time... through tape-delay. Stupid networks... I guess I have to wake up early again, run to the nearest PC 방 and watch the live stream before heading off to work. Still excited about it though. The KBO should crawl down to the deepest pit of hell and never come back. Just my 'humble' opinion. ^^
until the popularity of K-League matches or is greater than KBO, its never gonna happen. I've been itching to drop everything I do, invest in some good cam's and broadcast matches myself. impossible in many ways finance and man power wise but one can always dream
If you ever decide to actually do that, give me a call. I'd love to be part of that crew. Would it be technically legal though? You'd need everyone, as in, main cameraman, replay edit crew, commentators, etc.etc. I'm not too familiar with Korean broadcasting laws.
Rule of thumb: If you need to ask that question, you probably know the answer... It's a lot like, "Techinically, is she old enough?" Deep inside, you know the answer w/o having to ask a lawyer. Don't be stupid.
Hey, for all we know, it just might be legal (assuming there's no use of pirated/illegally obtained network or feed) if you're careful enough and go through potential loopholes. There's nothing wrong with taking pictures or shooting footage of a sports game you're attending, so why not some commentating and live replay mixing of your own while you're at it? ^^ This reminds me of when I was watching Jeju vs Chunnam through the Afreeca Sportstv stream, but there was one curious second stream next to the main one. Not much traffic on that one, so I figured it would be less buffering and less stream commercials, but the commentary was kind of weird. The guy talking seemed... aggressive, and actually said to the viewers that if you're not a Jeju United fan, get off the stream now, because you're not going to like what he's got to say about the visiting team as the game progresses. He didn't seem like a professional, hired commentator to me, looked very much like a private feed. Of course, I turned that stream off and clicked back on the main one, because I didn't like his tone, even if he was a fellow Jeju fan. Just saying though, sh*t's possible. =/
Kim Shin Wook has 11 goals in the Rush and Cash Cup. The Cup final will be on, and yet, Kim Ho Gon has managed to put the star on the bench. Anyway, Han Sang Woon and Lim Sang Hyup...fighting! ^.^
Idiotic manager... I bet he's expecting another second-half sub goalfest from him like the semi-finals. Lightning doesn't strike twice I'm afraid... the guy should be starting 11. I got up early to watch him slaughter Busan's defensive line, just to find out he's benched. -.- The match starts in about 20 minutes, Jit, do you have a good stream? Just in case Sportstv Afreeca doesn't have it, although they always advertise their stream at the last minute. You know, just in case.
Yo~ you obviously dont know Busan's fooballing philosophy, or Ahn Ik Soo's footballing philosophy. Its called playing three centre-backs to strengthen the midfield line with a high defensive line. In other words, Ahn Ik Soo (who was the coach with FC Seoul last season when they won the championship) likes defensive football. So, slaughtering their defence wont be easy The problem is Ahn Ik Soo recently had an operation so he wont be on the sidelines telling his players what to do. Also another problem is that recently 4 Busan defenders have been involved in match-fixing allegations so he needs more defenders. Ulsan is another defensive team....or in a more common terms, Ulsan play boring football. As for the stream Im waiting to see if Justin TV will have it up. I hope it does, because all the baseball matches has been called off due to the rain so SBS ESPN and MBC SPORTS + are showing it live.
WHAT?! I was expecting stupid baseball on all three sports channels, so I'm now at my local PC Bang to see it through live stream... you're telling me I could've stayed home and watched it on TV?! FML. Oh, and Sportstv Afreeca has their live stream up. Match starts in 3 minutes!
One of the many reasons why I vehemently despise the crap that is baseball. Especially Korean baseball. Let's go Ulsan! Two close headers in the penalty zone so far, Busan's defense doesn't look so hot, Jit. EDIT: Early sub (21st minute) by Busan, a hip injury they're saying. Busan may have a good central defense (which they're clearly not showing right now), but their flank is getting mobbed by Ulsan's wingers. Nice goal attempt from Han Sang-Woon from Busan just now. Scary shot.
GOAL!!!!! Ko Chang-Hyun of Ulsan scores, Ulsan leads 1-0. EDIT: Yes! Another goal from Seol Ki-Hyun, 2-0 Ulsan! Half-time now, great game so far.
Kim Shin-Wook just came in, and seconds later, he assisted in another Ulsan goal. What a beast. 3-0 Ulsan! EDIT: Yang Dong-Hyun scores Busan's first goal of the match. Very nicely done. 3-1. Yang Dong-Hyun scores AGAIN from a well placed cornerkick, 3-2. Uh-oh..
Ulsan wins the 2011 K-League Cup Final, 3-2. Busan had the perfect chance to equalize in the last minute with a direct free kick, but blew it. Very nice comeback attempt by Busan, and congrats to Ulsan! Pity the stream doesn't show the presenting of the Cup though. And apparently, the prize money for first place is a mere 1 hundred million won, or roughly 1 hundred thousand USD. They'll probably end up spending all of that in two days...
