Good idea for a thread? If not then its ok, just thought it would be easier to find boot info etc in one thread

Anyway, first question... anyone wearing currently wearing these..

    how are they?

my t-7's are dead and the leisure league i play at the surface is like sponge yet they have a water system in it so its kinda slippy too

if this thread gets closed sorry mods for wasting your time.

Yeah there's a thread but I have a couple of pairs of those. Love them! Played in snow and ice on 3g in them, no issues. Comfortable too.

I train on 3q and everyone wears boots, no issues at all, I remember last year playing at goals and it was blistering I swear my sole was melting

Just so where on the same page,
3G is the fake grass with a rubber pellet compound?

I know alot of people who wear fg but at the other leisure league on 3q I was like the only one in boots everyone wears astro

I've played over goals on 3G pitches pretty regularly for 5-6 years and over that time most people have been wearing boots. Only in the last year or so i'd guess have more people starting wearing trainers, probably down to the extra work being put into the Nike 5's and Adi5 ranges i guess. I've been pretty comfortable wearing any FG boots over there, i've worn my Bomba Finale's over there too and they were fine, i just dont find them as comfortable to wear as any of my boots.

    Anyone play leisure leagues?

if so, what are the rules where you play?

where i live, theres like 3 different venues, and at 2 theres a head hight rule, Which i thought was a good idea, and it improved peoples ball control etc..

which to be knowledge didnt the FA want?

whereas where i play now, theres no head hight rule and people hoof the ball back and fourth all game its pretty annoying aha

I play on like an all weather surface, which is used for hockey, netball and football. I play in the soccersixes league which is 6 side league, you are allowed over head height (useful for counter attack :D). But i wear Nike T5 astros. They are great for grip and touch. I also use them indoors which is fine for me.

I also play at the local goals center where they have 3G turf and play in HG puma kings.

I also play some times on a sandy turf pitch which i hate! Firstly it shreds the front of my boots, and also one slip or fall and its massive burns on knees and elbows. So i avoid as much as possible.

The sand is the worst, it either cuts you burns you or gets in your eyes aha

I've had the black rubber bits from 3G turf in my eyes too lol

The sandy old style turf is terrible though, its too short and offers no grip, as soon as it gets frosty it turns into a block of ice and the friggin sand gets everywhere.

3q is becoming more and more popular,

It's always a good laugh seeing someone in sg on 3q though, seen a few at goals doing it, it must kill there feet

I guess these are old versions, but the colorway is new for me.
    Still prefer the "white/grey" colorway.

im pretty happy with my adi5, used them on 3g wednesday and hey are really comfy, and the touch compound is a nice little benefit. I got leisure league 2mz so i will see how they are there, which is like a sponge with water pulled into it=s

    but i do recommend them

It's a little laugh seeing someone says 3q instead of 3g?
Or am I missing anything about 3q turf?

What's old about these? I thought there was only one Elastico Finale, except for different colorways.

US4? Are they shoes or gloves? LOL
J/K buddy, I feel you about the size error. I just made the same mistake with Adidas Japan Patique X Top.

Seeing as this is the appropriate thread I thought I'd post a couple more pics here.

Really can't understand why companies don't release top tier astro's anymore, I understand that they make specific astro's like the Bomba Pro's and such. Just a real shame, wish I had got a pair of AdiPure I turfs when I had the chance.

    Kangaroo leather astro's = Perfect.

Strangely I've never been a fan of the Mundial team, they always fit my foot weirdly.

I have narrow feets but i tighten my laces so you cant see the x. It is very weird that the leather on the teams and indoors and world cup are so much softer then on the regular copa mundial.

I've spotted a pair of Predator Absolion PS TRX TF shoes on ebay but I'm unsure of what size I would need. I have a pair of Predator Powerswerve FGs and need to know if the Absolion Turfs run the same as my Powerswerves...has anyone worn them both? Thanks!
