Torneo Esperanzas de Toulon 2011 - getting ready for the WC 2011

I can't wait to see what James can do in this team. Hopefully he'll shine maybe, just maybe bolillo will keep him in mind since he can "centrar como europeo".

 

En el Partido preparatori a Finales de Marzo contra Ecuador Colombia formó con:

al parecer por los nombres me parece ke Colombia empezó jugando un 4-3-1-2 con James de enganche...

Pongo la alineación, porke a menos de 2 dias de debutar en Toulon, Lara tiene los dias contados para probar a lo ke usará en el mundial sub20

Unless you meant Cardona and not Candelo.....

Also at CB is Franco or Murillo better than Medina? Why take him from Nacional in the Semis to just bench him?

 

That's not my first choice squad either. By the end of this tournament James and Cardona have better played with each other at least twice. This is the last chance to get those 2 on the same page before it counts.

Candelo is good though, believe me.

Medina will get his minutes.

 

Wish we could have held on to the three points.

The next two matches are going to be against Sub 21 teams and I think they will be tougher.

Bolillo is apparently at the tournament.

So we all now know he has seen James play in person.

 

I know it was not all that impressive but at the start of this thread people were worried about this being the group of death. We finished in first place.

Not bad.

 

Another match for toloza in millos

 

Yeh I was really impressed with them today. They played beautifully at times....I hope they get to play france later on so we can get to know them before the world cup.

 

It was nice to see.

As for France, I hope we play them in the Final too but they have a mixture between a U21 and a U20. It won't be the same squad we will face in Bogota, nor the will they have the same tactics obviously.

 

Este es un equipo totalmente diferente al que jugo el sudamericano, juegan muy bien y ojala esta sea la cara que den en el mundial (o mejor)

 

watching the mexico and china game and our sub20 is a different level then these two.

 

Colombia plays such a pretty style of soccer compared to the rest of the Sub 20s on this planet.

We just need our forwards to start producing and become more efficient with their opportunities.

We should blow out Mexico if that is the case. If not they can grind out a victory. Lara better get the job done.
