I guess their reason for such a high p+p is due to the box that the top comes in. No reason why they shouldn't reduce the price of the shirt itself though, given that it's now out of season.

My gripe at the moment is that the Adidas shop is managing to sell the Argentina shirt for £85, yet all the club sites are wanting in excess of £100. In fact, the Liverpool website are wanting £100 for the Home jersey (and it doesn't even have PowerWEB!) whilst Kitbag were selling the away jersey for £75.

I would have thought that but as far as I am aware the p+p is standard for delivery outside of Italy to the UK and Europe. Bayern, both Marseille and Lyon only charge 9.95 Euros, around £8, p+p. Ok given France is closer to England, but still a lot cheaper. I am just keeping my eyes on Subside to see if they get the new AC TechFit kit in.

I am a bit annoyed that Adidas store hasn't/doesn't stock any more TechFit shirts. I would have expected both the Germany kit and Bayern Munich TechFit shirts on sale. Especially since your order gets posted from Germany anyway. The Clubs will always sell for a higher mark up. It is how they make their money.

Actualy I do not understand why I can't find anything in Adidas store:

90% of my shoes are Adidas, I got something like 12 techfit shirts, and more than 30 soccer shirts with a lots of Adidas.. But nothing come frrome the Adidas store!!!

Imagine that Adidas would propose all the soccer shirts, including techfit shirts... Who would risk to buy a fake on the web like fake website or on ebay??? If right now I could buy the mexico away shirt on Adidas, I would buy it... I'm sure lots of people would do that...

At least they could propose all the shirts from the previous season... I would spend a lot of money if so...

Well they do a lot of replicas but they only have the Argentina TechFit. Like you it surprises me they haven't got a bigger selection of footy shirts. You look at Nike.com and they all the main teams they produce kit for (obviously not teams like Palace though), plus all the training gear, branded trainers etc. I do think Adidas are missing out on a possible good deal.

As an aside, anyone seen a TechFit they are thinking of buying?

A follow up to my AC bashing over p+p yesterday. I was wrong. The postage is calculated from the weight of the package and distance. The shirts have now dropped to 80 Euros, but they still only have XL. I would probably look a bit of a knob wearing that :D Furey you where right when you suggested how the work it out.

Greggy if I see any of those I post it up here or PM you mate. I have seen the Columbia shirt on football-shirts.co.uk, I think, and it does look awesome.

Just a quick question to everyone/anyone. You guys seen a size Medium AC TechFit anywhere, in the EU so I don't have to pay import charges (got to pay VAT on anything over £45 and Import Tax over £135 from anything coming from outside the EU :()?

Shadow Knight, one thing you could do to avoid the Import Tax from outside the EU is asked the seller (eBay, presumably?) to mark the parcel is a gift. I did that with my Spain box when I bought it from there. Of course, it's reliant on trusting the seller to do it or you'll be hit with the hefty amount if they forget/lie! Might be worth sending them a message beforehand asking if they're ok with it. It shouldn't matter to them too much as not many people accept returns from International sales anyway.

On the subject of my Spain box, I have a second one that I have never touched. It's the World Cup Winners box with the 2010 TechFit jersey with the world cup winners' star above the badge, plus the 1986 top (both in Medium). Only 60 were produced after Spain's victory last year so it's quite rare. If anyone's interested PM me!

Oh, and something else i noticed today is that both Lyon and Marseille's online shops are provided by the same company, Made in Sports. This parent website is selling the Lyon TechFit so i see no reason why it won't sell the Marseille tops either once they've been released (tomorrow I think it is?). I say this because it might save people money on p+p by purchasing both team's tops from the one website!

I know a guy in Japan that does that for me and also "lies" about the total value of the item so it is always bellow £45 when the exchange rate is converted. I have to be honest and say I wouldn't risk asking a random seller to do it just in case. I would not have to pay customs and then pay a handling fee to fricken Parcel Force, which has happened to me before

I got my Lyon shirt straight for them...well it actually posted from Lille but who cares. Just thinking though if you buy both at the same time for 124 Euros then you may get free standard postage because you've spent over 150 or something.

Just ordered the 2010/11 AC Milan TechFit shirt off Ebay. Some may ask why I didn't wait for the new kit...but I really don't like the look of it.

    Cheers for the PM Greggy.

Hey guys. Newbie to the forums here. It's good to know that I'm not the only one out there who loves the techfit kits like I do. For the record, I prefer the size L shirts due to me being a female. Gives me a little more breathing room, if you will.

I have 7 techfit kits right now, looking to purchase more in the very near future.

Hey guys just wanna share a loophole going on with soccer.com at the moment.

Techfit shirts are pricey, and with this trick you can get 20% pretty much everything on the site.
    For example
    [IMG]

    http://www.soccer.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&query=techfit&N=0&Product_Id=526167

The argentina kit is already on sale. I have a goal club membership so its a bit cheaper for me ($71)

All you have to do is add a VELOCE product to your gearbag. The cheapest veloce product is this clip http://www.soccer.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Ne=646&N=4294958934&Product_Id=212887

Add it to your gearbag along with whatever product you're after.

At the checkout screen just type in 1VELOCE20 for the source code, It will prompt you to add the 20% discount.

For free shipping as well just type in 1FSMAYX. it works for any orders over $50.

Here's a video i made for more help.

Cheers guys, hope this helps save some $$ :)

That's great! Would definitely use it if I lived in the US. But for European buyers import duties cancel out the most benefits :(

First off, welcome AC-130U. We are all friendly here so feel free to post whenever. You say you got a few may I ask which ones? If you need any help finding a specific shirt just post up what you are looking for adn I am sure someone will find something.

Secondly, J 10 I agree with you in that HMRC would destroy me in VAT/Customs charges. But in the UK if an import is under the value of £45, after conversion, then they just sort it and send it on to you (yay). Otherwise Parcel Force pick it and charge you for the privileged of picking it from the airport for plus the VAT charges (unless it is over £135 the you pay hefty customs charges).

I have Powerweb under gear and love it. Would like to try techfit/powerweb on a football shirt.

Well it is interesting to say the least having power webbing on a shirt. If you were to buy a TechFit footy shirt which team would go for? If you just want to try it out for a reasonable price go to http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=techfit. There you will find the France world cup away kit in long sleeve for £39.99. Not bad really considering most TechFit shirts sell at around £100 new.

I know this is too soon to ask but Chivas de Guadalajara just signed a contract with Adidas for the next 6 seasons. Any idea if theyll get tech fit kits?

Not to worry mate. It was a good idea to share it though.

I have to be honest when I say I don't know. Possibly. I wouldn't surprised if you kits will be similar to Chivas USA, and as far as I'm aware Chivas USA don't have TechFit. But who knows? Just have to wait and see I guess. Sorry I can't be anymore help.

Shadow Knight, thanks for the welcome. I currently have the following S/S techfit kits:
    Germany Home
    Russia
    South Africa
    10/11 Bayern Munich
    10/11 AC Milan
    10/11 Liverpool
    10/11 Marseille

I just ordered the 09/11 Argentina yesterday. Looking to eventually get 11/12 Marseille home and away, 11/12 Lyon, 11/12 AC Milan, and 11/12 Bayern Munich. That's quite a few I still need and the problem is that they are only available from stores overseas right now and it's quite expensive to order them. I also am looking to get a few MLS techfits as well.

No probs. Got to make people feel at home.
That's a very extensive collection you got their. I have never seen the Russia or South Africa TechFit shirts on sale before. Well done at picking them up.

When you say overseas, and I know this is going to sound stupid, but what do you mean? I've got the Lyon home shirt (wearing it now infact) from their store for a reasonable price. Both AC and Bayern have their TechFit shirts available at their online stores. Same with Marseille. Like I said before I am sure if you need some help getting hold of shirts someone will help you out. I know I am going to sound like a broken record but you can get the France away TechFit, long sleeve, from here: http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=techfit for £39.99.

For MLS shirts Ebay is probably your best option on a budget. Depends on how much you have to spend.
