If this were to happen Team Canada would not be able to leave the stadium alive. They will be drenched in 90,000 beer cups (and other liquids.)
Geeze, I thought all this was supposed to be fun. Anyways, being a Salvadoran working at the UAEM in Toluca, I will be more than happy to give predictions, as I already have around here Group Stage First games: Mexico 1 - El Salvador 2 (It's not el Azteca, so I think it's a decent prediction; that and Chicharrito won't have Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney with him ) Cuba 0 - Costa Rica 2 Jamaica 2 - Grenada 1 Honduras 1 - Guatemala 0 Panama 1 - Guadeloupe 1 USA 2 - Canada 1 (This is going to be the best game for the first round) As a finals predictor, and because I'm extremely biased, and this IS a forum of opinion...I go with El Salvador taking it from my Americans at the final minutes. USA 2 - El Salvador 3 (Gol de Jaime Alas in a thriller!)
your smoking something if your say el salvador will beat anyone in the gold cup i say they lose 5-0 against Mexico and the USA
If they lose to everyone then they wouldn't play los yunnais. jaja. But if you're so sure they will win 5-0, then you should bet me. If Mexico wins 5-0 I will put anything you want on my signature for a good month; if they don't, then you put whatever I want on your signature. Deal?
Mexico 4 - El Salvador - 0 Mexico 3 - Costa Rica - 1 Mexico 6 - Cuba - 0 That will be 13 points for Mexico going into the next stage. Is their a certain amount of points a team needs to get to the final or is it just win win win?
Here you go:http://www.goldcup.org/page/GoldCup/MatchOfficials/0,,12802,00.html I'm a nice guy today.
but i want to bet that they would make 5 goals and they will win but if el salvador happens to make a goal or two that wont affect my win. Deal? oh and whats signature? lol i guess you should explain that first
That works for me. Even if my pathetic El Salvador somehow by the grace of the gods even score one goal against mighty Mexico, as long as they score 5, it's all good. You sure you're gonna put your faith in Chicharrito that much? A signature is the bottom part of what you leave when you post. When you see someone's post, at the very bottom they have a saying or even a picture.
Honestly I dought they will play Chicharito against you guys we won't need him for you guys we can use players from the Mexican league, Now against Costa Rica thats were we should unleash Chicharo. No offense to El Salvador
sounds good its a deal! Chicharito is going to whoop some zerote (dont know if i spelled that right) ass.
Hey, I know you might not know this, and you said it in jest, but that word is extremely offensive. It's like calling a black person the N word. We only use it amongst ourselves because we're paisas. I'm not angry, but just want to let you know that. All in all, it's a good deal, and for fun too. Think of something funny too. The last person that said Mexico was going to destroy El Salvador lost I only bet when I know que ondas.
I think the two dark horses will be Canada and Jamaica. Canada did manage to beat Belarus, only lost to Greece by one goal and drew Ukraine with the same bulk of players. With that being said with Simeon Jackson's current hot streak and Gerba always playing good for Canada maybe there is something special. If Canada wins all of its games through the Gold cup , according to football rankings Canada would be ranked in the top 20 in the world!
^That can't be right. Anyway....happy if we make QF to be honest. Puts us firmly in the upper competitive spots in the region and bodes well for WCQ. I'll take a win-draw v. Pan/Guad (flip-flop, whichever we get against whichever doesn't matter) as enough to progress. Unlikely we even score against USA or if we do we still lose 2-1 (see Atiba Hutchinson). ps-Hutch just got voted POY at PSV....ignore him at your peril. (FYI - that's two consecutive champions league-level Euro clubs in two years where he was voted MVP).
Oh it might be right - I just would be amazed if the math worked out in such a way as to raise us in the top 20. I'd take it!
