Even though I am Ghanaian, I am also Canadian too, I feel more Ghanaian though, but I for one will be watching this game, especially if it is at BMO Field so that way I can see the Ecuadorian team up close and personal, I love Ecuador in terms of how you guys play, 2006 I loved it when you guys made it to the Round of 16, and even though you guys lost to England in the Round of 16, it was still an entertaining game, you guys if you had won it, then you guys would have faced Portugal, 2010 you guys missed out, but 2014 you guys will be back, and you guys need to show everybody that you guys will qualify by beating Canada convincingly

It sucks cuz we're gonna be stuck with him for a while. No way in hell FEF eats the remaining three years in his contract even if we get obliterated in Copa America.

I think Rueda is not gonna make it to even half way of this Qualifier unless the tables turn dramatically. Vizuete is gonna take charge again soon sometime in during the Qualifier. I would not be surprised to see it happen AGAIN. I wish he'd be in control of the NT now. The NT we had last qualifier was out of his control. This one is just right for him.

As much as I would love to have vizuete take over sometime in the near future, I really don't think its gonna happen ! Like machine said, is FEF really going to get rid of him with that contract ?

Lol...according to El Universo, he's not returning their phone calls. He must be pissed off about having to score in 10 games or whatever that Rueda says he must do to prove himself ;)

    .

This has been the 11 Rueda has fielded in practice:

Marcelo Elizaga; Juan Carlos Paredes, Geovanny Caicedo, Fricson Erazo y Wálter Ayoví; Segundo Castillo, Cristhian Noboa, Michael Arroyo y Édison Méndez (Luis Fernando Saritama); Jaime Ayoví y Christian Benítez.

Glad to see Noboa in there, and well lets see what Elizaga can do. Obviouly not thrilled to see Paredes in there or Caicedo but we'll see. It wouldn't surprise me to see changes tho when the game starts, Rueda never starts the line up he fields in practice.

I can't believe it's a toss up between Mendez and Saritama. Mendez is a million times better.
