The Silverbacks are scheduled to play the Georgia State Panthers that day at the GSU soccer stadium in Atlanta at 4.00p. The game is listed on the websites of the Silverbacks & GSU.
hum, Ill have to ask the FO here what's up. I know they had the date for some time and were waiting to release it cause they were still working with the Silverback to firm it up. when the release came out, I assumed they got the details worked out. thanks for the knowledge. Yeah, let me know what you find out. The GSU game seems definite, I even talked with one of the Silverbacks reps about it. But it would be nice for the 'Backs to beat up on the Battery again for old times sake!!
got a message from Andrew Bell about the match. He isnt sure whats going on and is looking into it. Until then, they have removed the match from the schedule. Hope it still goes ahead. I enjoy Monkey meat! Mikey
yes, the Battery played Carolina on Saturday (0-0) and I know this match agianst ATL was in the works for a couple months, still trying to figure out where the snafu was. Carolina is also playing Wilmington and Richmond in the preseason matches as well.
