    Cris, that's bullshit.

    Our "play" hasn't suffered any.

And even if it had, what you say above still makes no sense because we had our best stretch of the season while we were playing in two competitions.

I would actually argue that the mid-week games helped keep our guys sharp!

We have two problems right now.

One, we aren't having the luck we had in the first half of season. I said more than ten times we were having very good luck in the first half of the season.

Two, as some of us keep saying here and on the list, right now our attackers couldn't score with a pocket full of cash in a discount brothel.

Our attackers are HORRIBLE at the moment.

Our overall game has not suffered much.

I think the team's psyche has.

They've still never really learned to fight.

This was illustrated for me even more sitting in the Frankenstadion last night to watch FCN beat Frankfurt.

Neither team "played" that well. That match was a battle of wills.

And eventually FCN imposed its will. Our team can't do that.

We thought they did, but it was just that things were going our way.

Since the press has anointed us "champions-elect", we're going to get everyone's best effort.

And so far, this team is handling that like a bunch of little bitches.

They need to stand up, fight for three points and learn to impose their will on inferior opponents.

Until they do that, we'll never be a true Euro power again.

yep, and we all know that if Bayern went bust and were relegated tomorrow they would lose 3/4 of their fan base.

    I promise it won't be me :)
I don't know if it'd be that many, but there are no doubt a lot of fair weather Bayern fans.

The same can be said for all of the others on the list of the world's biggest clubs.

And WE would lose quite a bit of our overall fan base should that happen to us too.

Yup. I wonder how many fans we had from Japan during the 1st season that are no longer watching us in the Rückrundesimply because Kagawa is out for the rest of the season.

    It happens.

2-2 in leverkusen....i'd rather they didnt win so we keep the lead as big as possible (if we lose in muenchen as expected)

True, they might not be "fans" but they are still numbers that increase our viewership and purchase BvB paraphernalia like "Kagawa" jerseys. They are still

In the end, some of these fans might stick with BvB, especially if success continues at the club - if success does not, expect many of those to forget about us and find another club to support for the that specific season.

True. I also think lots of people who do stick by will drop out should we get relegated or whatever. For bayern, a few seasons of no CL football would do it. They would have almost no fans outside bayern if they went through what we did in the last 10 years.

    Leverkusen 4-2 FT.

Right. As much as the BVB faithful don't like to admit it, BVB wouldn't be where it is today without the support of those "bandwagon jumpers" back in the 90s.

I hope none of you are really naive enough to think that the 70-80,000 fans at Westfalenstadion for each match are all life-long BVB fans.

The club needs their money and it is just as good as our money.

    As expected?

I'm not holding my breath for 3 points and I won't be surprised if we walk out of there empty handed, but I won't say "as expected". Our finishing could click and their defense could shit the bed again and we might see a tight 2-2 or 3-3 match.

We could walk out of there losing 3-0 just as we could walk out of there winning 2-3. Who knows, anything can happen but just like I'm not yelling, "Deutschen Meister" just yet, I'm not calling for us to lose in Munich either - I mean, why fuckin' even go?

Have you seen the girls in muenchen???

lol...Just mean they're big favourites while we can't hit a barn door amongst other things with a football.

    Anything could happen.

    ^^^^^^

Yes, anything can happen, but based on what I've seen in the last four weeks from both clubs, I expect us to take a pounding.

The good thing is even if we do, we still leave there with a 10 point lead over them, but then probably only seven over Bayer.

We just have to start taking care of business against everyone else.

And I really don't know if this team can do that.

Aside from our sitters in the last few match days since the Rückrunde started again and Neuer and Kessler having superb match days, if our defense can hold off Ribs, Robben, Gomez and Mueller to a goal or two, there should be no reason why we can't do the same to Kraft and whoever LVG decided to play CB and LB on that day.

I'm hoping we can win, thinking we could seriously draw, and would not be surprised by a loss.

That just me, folks. It'll be one of those games where I think anything can happen and nothing would surprise me.

Guys are killing me with this goalkeeper BULLSHIT!

No one is going to tell me every keeper we face has a f#cking career day against us!

THAT IS PURE BULLSHIT!! NOTHING BUT BULLSHIT!!

We made Stuttgart's Sven Ulreich look like Oliver f#cking Kahn! A keeper we put three past earlier in the season! A keeper f#cking FCN put four past at his own stadium!

F#CKING GLADBACH PUT TWO PAST NEUER TODAY!!

What did Reus do on his goal? Put the f#cking ball where Neuer COULDN'T STOP IT!!

Watch the f#cking "efforts" from our guys! Almost NONE of them are placed well!

They think they always have f#cking easy shots, put nothing behind them and keepers make the f#cking stops!

Yeah, I'll say Neuer had a world class day, but NO ONE IS GOING TO F#CKING TELL ME GUYS LIKE ULREICH, SIPPEL AND KESSLER all had "world class days" against us!

Our sorry f3cking attackers made it EASIER for them!!

Goddamn! Why is everyone so intent on making lame ass excuses for these guys??!!

Exactly, we've more often than not just totally "dropped em" when we've had a chance to shoot.

I think you yourself said that we didn't get all three points vs Schalke because of Neuer's great day as well, didn't you? Heck, even our very own Weidenfeller has a few matches were he is just a "wall". I'm not saying our finnishing could have been more lethal, but some of those stops made on our shots have been pretty freakin' awesome.

    Cris. I said Neuer did.

    That doesn't justify the others.

All three of the others are among the most inconsistent keepers in the freakin' league and you want me to believe they all had career days against us?

I'm sorry man, but that is plain and simply BULLSHIT!

I've watched all of those matches at least three times each.

I've watched matches in which all of these guys were beaten.

There was no major difference in the keepers' play.

They got beaten because their other opponents FINISHED BETTER than we did!

I thought the same at first because that was what I wanted to believe.

Then I saw these guys get beaten by others. They weren't doing anything differently.

The other teams gave them harder shots to stop and they couldn't.

Did you see Reus' goal against Neuer today?

If you didn't, take a look at it.

Neuer didn't stop it because Reus left him f#cking helpless.

    Reus finished with f#cking authority!

Something none of our guys do.

Agree. I haven't seen anyone "shut up" Neuer this season the way Reus did today.

FR, no one at BVB finishes like that that these days.

If it isn't an easy tap-in or an own goal, we don't f#cking score.

These guys are letting all this title talk shit get to them and it may be their undoing.

Some of these guys play like they don't realize the job isn't done yet.

Perhaps it will take the ass-kicking you guys are going to give us next weekend for them to realize they had better start playing with some f#cking authority again.

And I guess we do miss Kagawa.

That's how he would have finished that chance too.....
