I'm taking these thread to be a thread for all Bayern videos, past and present. Don't know why, but I went on a YouTube hunt for Ottmar's farewell ceremony prior to our final match in the 2007/2008 season. My first season being a Bayern supporter, and I fully admit, the one and only time I have shed man tears following this team.

That was one giant Baw-fest. I had never thought Hitzfeld actually liked the club that much, I always thought his sentimentalities were for BvB or some other club but really that was a great moment.

    EDIT: Just remembered this beauty.

Agreed. Hopefully we can get Neuer. As someone said here, Butt and Kraft are solid keepers but it would be nice to have a goalkeeper who could single-handedly win us a game from time to time.

As Inter comes up, I'm continually reminded of this game from 3 years ago( Season of Infinite Misery)

Pretty annoying match considering we completely dominated but only scored 1 goal, by Podolski(surprise!). Viera scores the equalizer towards the end and looks as if he ran a million mile marathon

Memeth Scholl = I am Legend (the true one)

Why can't we have someone like him taking our free kicks now? What a genius and a cool guy on top of all.:)

I'm sure all the male members of this board would part with a testicle for a LB like Lizarazu! That video should be titled, "Bixente Lizarazu - The Perfect Left Back".

I love Lizarazu, but I have to say: Lahm> Lizarazu at LB.

How would you rate Lahm against Sagnol at RB?

Depends who we are talking about. In general so far I would say Sagnol is better. Lahm 2nd half of the season with Robben was on the same level though, in some games even better. Lahm has been like a ship in the sea, up and down in performance. He looks to finally started attacking again this season after he got the armband, but I think we need to watch him over next season to see how he does with his consistency

Oh man that is a tough one. He was an absolute beast at RB so I think I'd go with Sagnol. Not to say that Lizarazu is a worse fullback than Sagnol or that Sagnol is better than Lahm, just think that Lahm at LB is an equal to Sagnol at RB. I would welcome all 3 right now though, that would be awesome :p

Lahm is a bit too timid for his talent in my opinion. He has all the tools to influence a game the way Sagnol did but he still holds back way too often.
