Thought it might be useful to have all of these in one place, rather than cluttering up the roster thread. Looks like we will have at least six "homecomings" at PPL Park this year. Active players (MLS) Alejandro Moreno (2010 expansion draft): Chivas USA Brian Perk (waived 7/30/2010): Los Angeles Shea Salinas (2010 expansion draft): Vancouver Chris Seitz (2010 re-entry draft): Dallas Shavar Thomas (traded 6/30/2010): Kansas City Active players (non-MLS) David Myrie (released 3/30/2010): Limón, Costa Rica Primera Division Active players (unattached) Fred Carreiro (2010 re-entry draft) Toni Ståhl (option declined 1/14/2011): On trial with IFK Norrkoping
He's the starting right back on the Costa Rican national team.. so of course he was always going to be able to link up with a team back in his home country.
So, updated. There were rumors about Fred heading to Perth Glory of the A-League, but nothing concrete yet.
Nitpicking, but I think Fred prefers to use da Silva as his surname, at least going by what he has on his Twitter.

http://www.philadelphiaunion.com/player/jt-noone Not that I know of, haven't heard that he's gone, and he's still on the team's site. Any news out there about him I may have missed?
Although not a rostered player with the Union, Tomer Chencinski who trained with the team following the conclusion of the 2010 USL-2 season in Harrisburg just signed with VPS of the Finnish league. Here are the details and a brief Q&A with Tomer, (he mentions his time with the Union). http://blog.pennlive.com/upper90/2011/02/tomer_chencinski_signs_with_vp.html

Can someone explain that one to me? Was Veit a failure or was Nick S just dying to get back into the limelight? Seems Tom had a good job in Tampa and a good job in Philly. Was moving to WWE and leaving Union his idea?
