John Elkann, Chairman of Exor, the Agnelli family safe, stronger than a billion of cash on hand, he planned to begin in 2011 in the name of imposing an investment property in London around one of the quintessential British sport: cricket .According to Milano Finanza , the transaction is estimated to total 400 million pounds including the cost of the land. Imagine if only 150 of these 400 million were invested in Juventus ...

Elkann is a business man. A good one at that. Football might just not be his thing. Thats why hes not the GM. If his brother would take charge then Juve would make Real and City look like school girls.

i agree there, question is, why hasnt he invested in the club anyway? Juve is a PLC (public limited company) so it wouldnt be a problem even if he isnt the chairman

Why don't Italia have a Cricket team? They'd be pretty good at it and it's the second most popular sport next to Football right now.

A few Italian-Aus players have done well including the greatest of all time who had an Italian grandmother.:D

Supposedly, Bonucci has always been a Juventino even during his short stint in the Nerazzurri youth academy. He said he cried when Juve lost to Real in the CL back in the 90s.

    NO OTHER MEANS OF CRICKET
26/01/2011 18:30 by Matthew Culotta article read 4945 times
    [IMG]Photo © Philip Gabutti
Why buy reinforcements? Why imitate, and Inter Milan? Why spend millions and millions in football, when everyone knows by now that cricket is the new frontier of the sport? AC Milan Ibrahimovic ,Cassano , Robinho , Pato and InterMilito , Eto'o and (maybe) Pazzini ?And do we care? We have the cricket ...
"The money is there , "said JohnElkann . Indeed they are: there are, but not for Juve. The Advocate grandson Gianni Agnelli (who probably will stand flipping in his grave), chairman of Exor - the company that manages the funds of the Agnelli family - is ready to invest 400 million euro for one of the most popular sports by the subjects of His Majesty . Ready for a big real estate transaction in London, just for cricket. A sport that in some ways resembles the football, but it is quite another. More than eleven players running after a ball, much better than eleven players who kill for a ball from the circumference of 22 cm.
So while the big teams in Italian football is fun to squander all they have on the market and strengthening its teams, Juventus are watching and preparing for this new experience. The fans, especially, awaiting the arrival of a great striker, will receive up to a club (in the true sense of the word) of Lionel Messi of cricket, complete with autograph. So what if the greatest passion of the Advocate is in deep crisis, penniless and without a win in six years. So what if 14 million fans are eagerly awaiting to return to celebrate, to find the team that won everywhere, from the rubble of destroyed Calciopoli? Who cares? The important thing is cricket.
So what if now, who is called Juventus, to buy players must seek the loan with the right of redemption? Once, when I had to buy a player, the negotiations lasted less than a week. It started with the cash, he returned with the player. Now, to conclude a deal, players have to ask alms. But no matter. It does not matter because both Juventus no longer exists. Indeed, it is almost becoming a burden. There is more passion than when there were still the Agnelli brothers, there's no love for the shirt. Juventus died with the lawyer, tried to rise but we thought Calciopoli to deliver the coup de grace.
If you really have the same blood flows in the veins of the Advocate of John Elkann, then trust in his common sense and passion for Juventus (?). Otherwise, all to play baseball ... sorry ... cricket ...

Xavier Jacobelli: "Almost certainly return Moggi at Juventus"
Suggestive hypothesis executive director of QS.

A bomb that could upset the Italian football and Juventus, Luciano Moggi from July 1 will return to Juventus. A support is the director of QS and Quotidiano.net Xavier Jacobelli that point in his time on the team and Juventus in the market in general, Quotidiano.net, launches the sensational suggestion that would return five years after the Director-General Juventus has made history in Corso Galileo Ferraris. But before we start the analysis of yesterday's race ended with a heavy home defeat against Roma which means goodbye Cup Italy: "This Juve is very small, after Europe loses League Cup Italy against Rome and against which Ranieri takes his revenge. The revolution summer so far is not paying Marotta, 13 players including 11 in the summer, he had carte blanche, but thus far has failed. Less than 9 from behind leaders AC Milan fans and enraged, Agnelli is seriously considering to reconstruct the Capello pair-Mogg, if by June 30 will not be struck off the former Juventus director general on July 1, a complete ban, come back in Corso Galileo Ferraris, now so do the rocks. While rivals in the market are triggered Juve is still , missing two days and if by Monday will not do anything the gap with competitors is likely to become a chasm postponing for another year the assault on the Champions League zone. "
