Haha, nah, this was reported too by one of Portugal's most unreliable sources for Porto news.

His release clause is 30M Euros, and Arsenal never pay that much for anyone. Maybe they can get him in the summer, but Arsenal never can afford Porto players. It's usually the likes of Madrid, Barca, Inter, United, Chelsea and now City who buy Porto's top guys. :)

Entre los tres solo han metido 10 goles esta temporada (1, 2, 7 respectivamente)

Seria genial verlo delante de Nasri y Cesc, jugando al lado de Chamack o Van persie.

Well, Porto's manager said today at a conference that the Arsenal rumor was false and that there is "no possibility" of the player leaving in January.

That is, unless Arsenal pay Porto 30M Euros for his release.

ahhhh.... i was looking to see him against maritimo... should be a delight for porto as usual.

Falcao was very clear a few days ago stating that he wants and will stay at Porto for a while.

3-1 victory for Porto, Falcao had a goal and an assist in his return, but looked very rusty throughout the match to be perfectly honest. He probably had like 8 good chances, as this Naval team just sucked defensively. Still, a perfect match for him to return and get his fitness back.

Good to know, by 8 chances I can tell without watching the match that his placement still perfect.

He always knows where to be, He'll start missing less chances and look less rusty as his body gets used to match playing ...

Nice for Hulk to get 2 goals! He is such an amazing force.

Yeah Falcao wasn't razor sharp today like usual, as Porto fans have come to expect him to be a machine and convert every chance. :D You could tell he was a little bit nervous out there, not really sure when to shoot or pass, but still contributed a goal and an assist.

As I said earlier, this was a perfect match for him to return for, since our opponents tonight were just awful. I expect Falcao to improve a lot going forward, or perhaps I should say I HOPE he improves since our manager hates our backup striker, Walter. :D

Basically Falcao is our only option at striker other than Hulk, who is a natural right-wing forward.

Falcao is closing in on 100 goals for his professional career, what a f^*king machine. He's already scored 53 for Porto in just 68 official matches, in addition to the 45 he scored at River Plate in Argentina. He's never gone more than 3 consecutive games at Porto without scoring, has scored at least 2 goals or more for Porto in a match 11 times, and has netted 51 with the right foot, 27 in the air and 20 with the left in his career. What a player, I really hope he can provide this kind of quality to your national team in the future too.

From your finger typing to God's eyes. :p

We all want to see him do well on the Seleccion in yellow, but as of right now he has not done much. (Whether it be him, the systems, or just plain bad luck.)

He also tweaked his knee which is why he came off according to his comments on his official site. Hopefully he can come back soon!

I don't think this is true, Portuguese press is reporting that he's officially out for tomorrow's Cup match, and doubtful for Saturday's league match. He should be back next week.

I hope your right. Over at the Portal do Dragoes the story was just posted on Falcao's thread, but so far I haven't seen it confirmed on Record, Abola or Ojogo, so hopefully its an exaggeration - its a knee bruise...but he should take care to make sure it isnt serious.

Falcao tweeted saying that his knee was just a bruised knee from a hit during the game he played.

He said he will be fine and to not worry too much.

Yeah we play another league match on Wednesday night, and it's been confirmed that Falcao will not be called up as he continues to rehab his left knee in the gym and on the pitch. Good news is that our manager says he could be available for a cup match this Saturday if needed, and the player is progressing nicely from this minor injury.

Better news is that James Rodriguez should start on Wednesday night, as we'll probably see the same front 3--James, Hulk and Varela--that started the match on Saturday. James has been in great form, so hopefully we'll see him out there again! :)
