Re: Josh Gatt transfers to Norway Yes, Molde is in the first division and from what I've heard it sounds like he'll be getting some decent playing time to start out. An Under 20 American actually making some noise in a first division league in Europe, that would be something, we'll just have to wait and see.
Re: Josh Gatt transfers to Norway I doubt this rules him out for the U-20 World Cup. Scandinavian teams understand how important the tournament is for their players exposure. Ole Gunnar is probably looking to develop him through this season for next. He's still quite young for a professional. If Gatt stayed with Altach he was going to miss qualifying to begin with.
Re: Josh Gatt transfers to Norway Ole was very respected for United's reserve team and helped developed a lot of youth. Couldn't think of a better jump to make. Well done!

Re: Josh Gatt transfers to Norway Breaking (into) the Molde: Josh Gatt in Norway. Making Some Molde Bread: Josh Gatt Playing Professionally in Norway or, Gunnar Gets a Gatt: Josh Gatt at Molde
Live streams from the Norwegian league is highly unlikely. There are some Norwegian pay-per-view options, but they are pretty expensive. I'm considering putting up a stream of my own, if there is a demand
Re: Josh Gatt transfers to Norway Crazy that Solskjaer is 37, he still looks like he did when he got to Man U plus a few pounds.
Re: Josh Gatt transfers to Norway Having a great coach who speaks English should make for a much easier transition for the boy. Was this Ole's first signing?
Re: Josh Gatt transfers to Norway He doesn't turn 20 until late August, so it's even better. Really happy for this guy though. He's really taken his opportunity well, to date.
Here's another article about his transfer: http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/supe...ves/nid-19499/Josh-Gatt-transfers-to-Molde-FK Unbelievable opportunity for the kid, not even 20 and has a shot to start for a 1st Division team in Europe. Best of luck in the future Josh!
Re: Josh Gatt transfers to Norway According to this link, Josh's 100m time of 11.0 would have made him the 6th fastest person in Norway http://fotball.rbnett.no/eliteserien/article189944.ece He also says that he knew of Molde's interest for several months.
Re: Josh Gatt transfers to Norway oh yeah....this kids going places. exciting times. lots of our youngsters are getting picked up overseas
Re: Josh Gatt transfers to Norway And about the 600th fastest teenager in California. Seriously though, this is a great story. This kid had the stones to go pro straight out of high school and now he's getting a chance in a respectable league. Big ups to Josh Gatt. I hope he dominates in Norway and gets capped by Bob soon.
