This game (for both PC and PS3) hits stores on Tuesday, 1/11/11. The cinematic trailer (which was created before the game's release date was changed from November 2010) can be viewed here. -G
I checked the starting rates to play this. Dear me it's dear for a game that is basically nothing but a DC clone of "City of Heroes"...
Not quite a clone, as word has it that this game will play more like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance than City of Heroes and most other MMO's. The fact that this game will be on the PS3 (as well as on the PC) helps those of us whose PC's are way too old and underpowered to handle most current games. -G
The livestream I'm watching of this has peaked my interest, and with $15 off at Direct2Drive, I'm strongly considering jumping in - even if its only for a month. On the other hand, I just got done with Cataclsym, and returned to the real world - I'm not sure it would be wise to jump straight back into another MMO.
my buddy just got a PS3 basically just for this game after half a decade of xbox... i am sad... i have yet to hear how he feels about it...

According to the latest news about the "Fight for the Light" DLC Pack: It will be ready for download on Tuesday, September 6th. Unlike previously announced, it will be a free download for all active subscribers. -G
The "Fight for the Light" DLC pack is now available. Actually, it's more of an unlock than it is a download, since the content was already included in the last update download. For PS3 players, simply go to the PSN Store, then in this order: Choose Add-Ons Choose Disc-Based Game Add-Ons Choose A-L Choose DC Universe Online Add-ons Choose Download Now And you're good to go. -G
