Yeah he sucks at penalties for some reason, we just wanted him to get a goal so he could score in all the group matches. Too bad, but Hulk takes all our regular penalties, so this shouldn't effect Falcao's confidence.

Does he ever take penalties for the NT?

I agree Dayro should take the penalties because he is fearless, that kid is confident in everything he does, pressure never gets to him, he thrives off of it.

Never seen Dayro take a penalty kick. But yeah, Falcao should improve on this, I mean this is a skill that you can actually practice and get close to perfection.

No way Crzd. I agree that Falcao is a better finisher, and possible knows how to position himself in the pitch better than Hulk. I'd argue they are both equal in technique (although their technical abilities are quite different), but the power and pace Hulk has is unparalleled, not even C.Ronaldo can show that much power or pace. Hulk is a beast.

Falcao: «Estou à disposição do F.C.

PS: Falcao said this thursday....I hope he stays and be one Idol for ever in Porto....Its not as bad as many may think....FC Porto its a Great European team....Its a feared Team always, in Champions League or Europa League....For example the Sevilla fans are terrified by having to face FC Porto in the next game in EL...

Isn't cool that Hispanophones and Lusophones can understand each other about 70% of the time? Well, at least in writing, speaking not so much...

Anyway, I don't see the urgency that many have to see Falcao play in England or Spain or Italy... Porto is fine club and a top team in their league . They also consistently play in European tournaments... I don't see a problem at all with Falcao staying there for a couple more years or so..Unless of course if Barça calls, then it's adeus Porto.

LOL man if you're a Porto fan you should know how things work. He won't stay forever and be an idol, we all know that. Most likely he'll sign a new, extended contract that sees an increase in salary and an extra couple of years so that teams have to pay more for his transfer. Hulk, for example, has an agreement with Porto to leave this summer, and is 99.9% gone if an offer comes. Quaresma signed an extension in 2008, fully aware that he was leaving that summer; the reason for this was simply so that Inter had to pay more for his transfer. But none of our stars--Pepe, Bosingwa, Quaresma, Lucho, Lisandro, Bruno Alves, Meireles, etc.--ever stay for more than 3-5 years.

Falcao's agreement will probably be to leave in the summer of 2012 or 13, but just because he says he wants to stay for many years doesn't mean that any real Porto fan believes him.

I don't think a team that won this competition in 06 and 07 is terrified of facing anyone. I like Porto's chances of winning this tie, but can assure you that Sevilla is not terrified of us at all.

Translation: "I want to make history at FC Porto," confesses Falcao.

Radamel Falcao revealed to the sports daily Olé Argentine that he wants to make history at FC Porto, as well accomplish many objectives in Europe, demonstrating his intention to remain with the Dragons.

"I have great dreams in Europe, many of which are unfulfilled. One day I will return to River Plate, but I have a contract with FC Porto until 2013 and I intend to continue for at least one more year," said the Colombian striker.

Falcao's confidence about the future, wearing a blue and white sweater, seems unshakable, showing that he is in Europe and Portugal to make history.

"I want to make history at this club like when I was a champion at River Plate, which is the ultimate goal of all."

On the rumors of interest from foreign clubs, the Colombian was keen to stress that at the moment his head is only with Porto.

'Many stories are in the press claiming that another club is interested in me, but I don't pay attention to it all, because my concentration is at FC Porto," he said.

    I like his attitude.

Keeping his head at the hand at task is the best thing he can do. I am sure he'll be able to shine. Hopefully his Injury is a no big deal.

I'm not sure, I think is muscle fatigue. It was during the last game of 2010 when he was replaced as soon as the second half started.

Unfortunately Falcao couldn't recover in time from the muscle strain that he sustained in our last league match, and will be unavailable to play vs Maritimo this weekend. The injury isn't terribly serious, and he should be back in 2-3 weeks.

Looks like there might be a serious offer to get Falcao by Arsenal...

I don't know if Arsenal needs Falcao though, they have Van Persie, Bendtner & Chamakh.
