The result is that Manchester City is 2nd place. Whatever we are doing, it seems to be working so end of discussion.

Yeah. Uhm. Maybe I'll wait until someone a bit less like a mental midget replies.

Re: Respuesta: Re: Talks with Dzeko in an advanced stage

    Two things.

    1. Even if he did want to play in Serie A, Juventus haven't tabled an offer and a move to the Premier League is not a step down in the world. It is the most watched and most profitable league on earth. And City are likely to be a top four/Champions League team for many years to come. Even if it was true that he wanted to play in Serie A, players haven't gotten their move of choice in the past and have succeeded. Really, do you think every player plays for the team he supports? Adam Johnson is a Newcastle fan and doing just fine...

    2. You can be selective about Dzeko wanting to go to Serie A but if you're going to believe everything the media says, then you also must take this into consideration: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...asking-that-they-sign-him-from-Wolfsburg.html

(and trust me, the media despise us and turn anything they can into a negative, so would not willingly write something like that without some source)

What he's been saying is he wanted to play in Serie A. Be that for Juve or Milan (his favorite team), that's not really the point. If he had signed for Roma I'd have no problem. Now he signed for a team in a different league because they offered him the biggest paycheck. Some of the last few players who have done that seem to be quite unhappy with their situation.
I don't believe anything in the papers without a direct quote. No one has been quoted over this supposed letter he sent City asking them to sign him, and if you think about it it sounds completely made up. He has been quoted several times about his desire to play in Italy though.

My point is I think it's important that a player wants to come to my club. Even if Juventus could get Messi I wouldn't want that to happen unless he actually wanted it. Not because we double his salary. That's why I was bummed about this, because it seemed he genuinely wanted to play for us and if it wasn't for City throwing money around he would be in Turin next season.

Anyway, you got yourself a fantastic talent. Congrats. I guess we'll have to wait for the next one. :)

Your point is full of $hit. Before Mansour's takeover, City was barely a mid table team and for sure not internationally recogized. Obviously, when you ask world class players where they want to go, Manchester City is not the first team that comes to mind.

To counter this, City had to overpay players to be there. Sure, there are problems in the locker room because when you bring players with egos who's never played with one another, conflicts happen. We built this team from scratch and within 18 month, it's not easy.

Going forward, once MCFC is consistenly in the Champions League and getting into top 4 in one of the toughest league in Europe, it will be a recognized team. I don't see that far away.

yeah, of course it's not your fault that I come from a country with 5000 years of civilization in addition to one of the fastest growing economy. It's simply a blessing. Whatever the hell you are, you're not much.

it's not my fault that you are a $%^&ing redneck who trolls around.

    End of discussion.

I've deleted Duck Manson's last post for his anti-Asian racism and issued a strong warning.

It's still there, am I missing something? Either case, case closed.

Dzeko going through medical. Ade is as good as gone and so is RSC.

I don't know what's wrong with Mark Hughes. I think there was news stating that he is still after Roque Santa Cruz. ha ha ha. Are they in love or something?

Some Malaga sources are confirming Ade will sign for them.

This is from Sheikh to Sheikh after all.

Whats the point of this? Liu Xiaobo is Chinese... and he won the nobel peace prize... how the hell do you counter someone saying he is proud to be Chinese with a Chinese who won one of the highest honors in the world....

Anyways, I'm glad Dzeko is close to signing, he is a pure finisher, I dont think he will have any problem fitting in here. You give him the ball near or in the box he will unleash hell onto the GK. He has that killer instinct within the box, rare to find a player like this!

    29 of his goals, enjoy ;) [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUX1tUtVAgg"]YouTube - Edin Dzeko - All Goals - 2009-2010[/ame]

Simple. Liu is fighting for human rights, freedom and democracy and for that has been imprisoned and is considered by China and it's people to be a criminal. Giving him the Nobel Peace Price is a total slap in the face of the entire People's Republic of China.

If you only could focus your talents just down to cars and boats and flights, you could actually make a career of this pointless sh*t.

He asked, I answered. It's common courtesy. You should try it some time instead of acting like a tough little American wannabee who has probably never set foot in Manchester.
