so I decided to start this thread cause I keep hearing news about ecuadorian players leaving to mexico for next season and Im wondering which one of this rumors are true. This will kind of suck in some way because I would much rather see some players in europe anyway heres a quick list of some of the rumored players.

    Joffre Guerron- Monterrey
    Felix Borja - Puebla
    Joao Rojas - Cruz Azul
    Jaime Ayovi - Toluca/Santos
    David Quiroz - Cruz Azul
Gonzalo Chila/Angel Cheme - America (Basically Angel Cheme is banned from futbol in Ecuador but no one has mentioned anything about playing outside Ecuador.
And there is other players who claim to have offers such as Miller Bolanos, Fernando Guerrero, Juan Paredes , and some others.

I personally think some of this players like F. Guerrero, M. Bolanos David Quiroz, Joao Rojas etc deserve to be in europe. some others however might get a benefit by playing in the mexican league like Borja, Guerron, and Paredes.

    Re: Ecuadorians abroad

Felix Borja going to Puebla isn't a rumor, it's a reality. I don't know who came up with Guerron going to Monterrey and Cerro Porteno and all that crap thats straight bs, he's not gonna wanna leave the Brazilian league when hes doing just fine this season in Atletico Paranaense. He'd be retarded to do that. Angel Cheme is done for the next 2 years or maybe forever, he's not gonna interest anyone with his record now. I feel bad for him, but that's just how it is.

I think Miller Bolanos and Fernando Guerrero have another season in Ecuador. I'd wish for us to pick up Guerrero if we can't renew with Salgueiro. One year in Liga and he'd be set to leave. Miller still has a way to go, but the kids got class and i don't want him leaving Liga until the years over. The guy who is ready to leave the league and try his luck else where is Joao Rojas.

Where'd you hear about Joao Rojas and David Quiroz going to Cruz Azul? I've only heard of AZ Alkmaar following Rojas. I'm pretty sure there's scouts watching him tomorrow in the final.

Marco Nazareno from D.Quito is going to San Luis supposedly. Never got enough time to see him play b/c he only played a few times as a juvenile in D.Quito's first team.

Marlon De Jesus agent said he's about to make a move to Rubin Kazaan. I support that move. He'll be in a great team that helped develop one of our best players and on top of that he'll have a great mentor that has his head on the right path. I hope this goes through Marlon seems to me as the most promising guy we have up front.

Personally I think Guerron should stay in Brazil. Hes doing well, and if he keeps playing well hes gonna keep on getting playing time. As for Jaime Ayovi, i doubt he's going to play in Ecuador next season. There have been rumors of him going to Europe, hes been linked to teams like Blackburn if I'm not mistaken, and also Partizan in Serbia. I wouldn't mind seeing him in the Premier League, although he could do well for a team like Partizan. Borja going to Puebla is a good move if hes gonna get playing time. If he does well it could put him on the map again. Miller Bolanos should stay in Liga at least for one more year. IMO i don't think that Rojas deserves to be in Europe, his game has declined considerably in the last year or so. Guerrero should stay in Indepediente, at least for half a season more. He really blossomed and regained his confidence as the season went on.

As for Marlon de Jesus, if he indeed ends up going to Rubin, that'll be great. Hell have Noboa there by his side, and thall help him a lot. Its hard to see which rumors are true, a couple weeks back, I was watching the El Nacional game in Ecuavisa (Ithink they were playing Macara) and they interviewed de Jesus' agent and he gave the impression that he pretty much had a deal set and done with a team in Israel.

    Re: Ecuadorians abroad

the only reason I say Rojas is "ready" to go play in Europe is b/c he's had 3 seasons in the campeonato and he's played Libertadores and Sudamericana. He's been with the NT too so he's got an ok background to go test his luck in a team like AZ Alkmaar for example. It's now or never. Some players end up getting stuck and never make the move. That kid loves emierdec but he's gotta leave the country to progress in his career, he's gotta long way to go but playing in the Eredivise would be a good start for him.

    Re: Ecuadorians abroad

Yeah I heard that too but I heard De Jesus wasn't interested in going there. His agent said something about a Brazilian team and a European team, which i think is Rubin. Right now i'd only support the move to Rubin, other than that I think he needs to stay in El Nacional another year or so and see how that goes.

the move to Rubin is huge...that team is very competitive in Russia. Sure they had a down year this season, but they're a great team to develop. They give guys chances to play which is important.

Yeah Rubin is a great team for a player like Marlon De Jesus. They are playing their regular season next year plus Europa League and then Champion's league. He def has the talent to get things done there. He along with Cazares were our best players today against Bolivia in Cordova.

Yeah I did. Cazares was really good, the kid that plays in the River reserves. He pretty much gifted the 1st goal to Chala. The second to De Jesus he also participated in. He got subed out and the commentators were saying he was easily the man of the match and I agree.

Also De Jesus could've had a hat trick but he missed a chance he created for himself, by getting through 3 Bolivian players ( I think it was), when the keeper blocked his shot.

We have a very interesting sub 20 team. They play Argentina wednesday.

Well I didn't see the game but I wouldn't get too exited about our u20 team they disapointed me so bad against the u20 venezuelan team last time and we were only missing cazares and Narvaez on those 2 losses against them.(we lost away and home)... other than that there is some very talented players in the team such as Cazares, De Jesus, Narvaez, Jaramillo etc..

BTW--- There is a new rumor linking Dennis Quinonez from the under 20 team to Jefferson Montero's Villarreal CF... I personally haven't seen this kid play a full game but I get the feeling he is not such a good prospect.

I think that De Jesus is one of if not the most promsing player Ecuador has (Juan Cazares is prob. the second IMO). I support the move to Russia, although I would prefer him play the Seria A for the apertura or whatever its called and then make the move in the summer transfer window.

As for the Quinonez rumors, if their true then it wouldnt be a bad idea. He almost certainly would not debut with the first team. He'll get assinged to the Reserves and it could do him some good playing a season or two there and get aclimated to Europe and develop his game. Him staying in Barcelona is not a bad idea either, Barcelona is losing some key guys and it might just happen that he features more prominently.

I saw that Narvaez played. Whats up with this kid. He was Cuencas RB all last season and this past season until he got injured. Good to see thats he's playing.

    Re: Ecuadorians abroad

Since this 2010 season there's been a lot of great young players emerging. hence, the number of offers from foreign teams that our players are getting is probably the highest it's been since i can remember.

How did Renato Ibarra do? from what i saw at the beginning of the 2010 season with El Nacional, the kid caught my eye and til this day i haven't seen 1 single upcoming right back draw my attention like he did. I'm still clueless why Pinto made the kid vanish out of the blue. Even the commentators were surprised about what happened to him.

And Juan Cazares seems to be that upcoming crack along with De Jesus. I swear everytime he plays he gets MVP of the game. I wonder how much longer it will take for him to break into Rivers first team, I'm a bit anxious to see him play.

    Re: Ecuadorians abroad

Dennis Quinonez, I'll admit, is actually a pretty decent player. Hard to say that from someone developed in Barcelona these days but he's been one of the most regular players of the squad and definitely the most regular starter out of all the juveniles in barcelona. I don't think he's set for a move anywhere. He's gotta stay in the league another 2 years or so demonstrating good futbol he's still too young.

Just read up on some news...its almost a done deal that Rojas is going to some team in Mexico, some team I never heard about. Also Lara is close to going to MLS and that Victor Estupinan and Marlon Ganchoso will be part of the MLS draft in January. Crazy stuff.

Hurtado has joined Barcelona. Nazareno has also renewed with the club, nice decsion by NAzareno although it wouldnt have been a bad idea for him to join Liga where he will play Libertadores and Sudamericana.

I completely agree with you, I think Guerrero has the potential to make it to a big team in europe if he could keep growing the way he is, I hope Real madrid regrets letting him go.

Well I believe they had a note on el comercio about Cruz Azul being interested in Ayovi, Quiroz, and Rojas, but I recently heard that it is almost a fact that Rojas will play for Morelia next year in mexico.

Morelia is a 1st division team but they definitely suck. I think he will be better off with the pitufos... although playing mexico will help catch more attention.

Im pissed off at the fact that Liga would let Lara go. Lara is a beast he was a starter with Fosati Idk why Bauza didn't like him. shouldve been a starter the whole year anyway at least he will get some playing time now.

I've noticed Bauza doesn't like the smaller not so muscular/massive players. Salas and Lara are an example of that. He uses them to bring speed into a game but rarely. He prefers someone who has strength, speed, height and stamina.

    on the other hand:
Breaking News- Cristian Suarez signed with Necaxa surprisingly and was officially signed today.

Be prepared Necaxa for las mamadas del ano. If he would follow Benitez path he'd probably be just as good or better than Chucho.

when I said the 2010 campeonato was gonna be more competitive, I never imagined the outcome would be a large number of players getting the numerous offers they're getting. This alone proves that our campeonato this year deserved the hype some of us gave it a year ago. What a great outcome.
