To be fair, he runs circles around others his age (U17), but played some games with the U20 this season and didn't score. To be honest, I prefer to know he is scoring against his age group without having outstanding physical attributes, because this suggests it's more about knowing the game and less about using a size/physical advantage which would disappear as he goes up in category.

Pedro Antonio Flores (twitter): Toma Chivas el mando de clubes unidos... O sea el Estadio Jalisco... Hay proyecto de remodelación ... Será?.. Dicen, en papel luce en grande Interesting...
A lot of stadiums have serious potential in Mexico (Jalisco, Toluca, Queretaro, etc), if they remodel it the right way. If they're just talking about a new paint job, then just save your money.

http://www.mediotiempo.com/futbol/m.../25/lo-penso-mejor-chivas-si-quiere-refuerzos All i ask for is one centro delantero, that is not denigris.
Bingo, that's what I was thinking yesterday while watching the Pumas game metio seis goles en el torneo and he isn't starting all games is he?
First off, any delantero will be an upgrade from what we have. But i think it should be a dude that has decent speed, that can defend and attack with pina, venado, and fabian in counter attacks. Cacho or denigris will kill us because they will need to stay in the area most of the game, and when they defend, they will not keep up with pina, venado, etc. We dont play like that.
seriously dude you are being really picky. There isn't a Mexican Forward out there doing what you want. Why would you want all three forwards to track back? Un centro delantero hardly falls back.
I think they are out there. It just happens that denigris and cacho are super, super slow. Theres plenty forwards that have legs; el cepillo, chuleta, carreno, sabah, mendivil, rafa lugo can fit the bill. And on the delantero falling back, Real likes to play that. It started with chicharo, he used to fall back to defend and our counters were deadly. Bravo didnt have the speed, thats why real didnt really like him. Believe me, chivas style, with Real, has forwards helping out in the midfield defending and stealing the ball and strike. That is exactly why we were night and day from last seasons team to this, we didnt have a forward to fit the bill. That position destroyed our team, aside from injuries, as it was the exact same team except for chicharo. Santos, monterrey, Cruz Azul etc. have such good depth and talent, that they can afford to just leave the center forward up top.
How about this then, F*CK the refuerzos, the player you want does not exist in Mexico right now. Let's just let our young forwards take care of things. *btw, I do want to bring in a delantero.
What do you mean he doesnt exist? I already put a list of candidates up a couple of posts. And i wouldn't be against letting our young kats play, but they dont put them in in consistent basis. Real would rather play without a centro delantero than with bravo or the youngsters.
Your list is garbage. I MUCH rather keep Real's system. But I prefer if we brought Denigris or Chuletita (won't happen). Basically if it's not these two then what we have is better than anything available.
All we need is a RB, so that esparza has a sub. We were hurting with him out. Other than that, I think we're set.
Garbage? So you think Chuleta is garbage? Sabah is garbage? Mendivil is garbage? Cepillo garbage? Come on dude, how can you be taken serious after a comment like that?
Shortlist of Mexican Striker Goal Tallies for the past Apertura; followed by the number of goals their team scored. Carlos Ochoa 7 - 22 Miguel Sabah 7 - 17 Aldo DeNigris 7 - 33 Chuletita 6 - 35 DaniMarquez 5 - 27 Marco Fabian 6 -16 Based on those stats I would want to sign Miguel Sabah or Carlos Ochoa. Although, it doesn't give me the whole picture. I would still want to see how many minutes they played; How many goalscoring chances the team generated and who was getting the bulk of those chances; What the score was when those chances were converted; Which body surface was used to score those chances. Based on past goals scored that I have witnessed. The bulk of Sabahs goals were probably a mixed bag of skills while Ochoa probably scored numerous headers. So, are we a team that plays down the wings and sends crosses (if this I would really recommend going after Borgetti as a player-coach), a team that passes a lot inside the penalty box or something else all together? For teams like Cruz Azul and America who don't depend on their Mexican strikers to convert key chances, I would not make trying to sign their players a priority since they might not be ready to operate as the go-to guy. With regards to signing a Mexican striker, the situation does look bleak.
I would like Cacho and upon further thinking Sabah would be a great option as well he was already a Chiva at one point in time so he would fit right in and obviously he is a much better player now than he ever was when we had him last time.
Yup. What we currently have is better than your list IMO. AND YOU seriously misread my post...you can't be taken serious.
Screw the rumors of Chuleta going to Europe. We need to start holding onto some of our talent. Chivas needs to go after him. If they only brought in a new striker, I would be happy with that. The rest can be worked on tactically.
Chuleta would be a good option, his brother isn't half-bad and is a bit younger. Rafa Marquez Lugo is a poor man's Bravo, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I guess. I've always liked Cacho, despite being slow, he's capable of creating his own goal opportunities from time to time. We already tried Ochoa and I don't think De Negris will be available. Don't like Cepillo or Mendivil.
