Re: Assembly General Meeting Hey, look, it's all the people that Traffic is having to pay to fill out the league!
Re: Assembly General Meeting Details please......please? You would hope that NASL (or NASL fans) might post some information on the NASL Facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/NASLfans
Re: Assembly General Meeting I think it shows what type of league we are looking at when the nasl.com webpage can't put up any pictures without them being proportionally incorrect. The homepage doesn't even show the two most recent games (championship matches) as a random game is listed before the championship games. The facebook page is rarely updated. Facebook is the easiest form of getting out current info.
Re: Assembly General Meeting It's a minor league that isn't in season. Actually, it's not a league. In fact, it has never been one. At this point, it has been nothing more than a collective bargaining agent for a group of minor league teams. What the hell do you expect? Seriously, what do you expect?
Re: Assembly General Meeting Do you participate in the discussion boards on the NASL Fans facebook page? http://www.facebook.com/NASLfans?v=app_2373072738
Re: Assembly General Meeting Did you seriously suggest USSF force Dallas and San Jose into D2? Are you freaking kidding? You have to be.
Re: Assembly General Meeting You mean the game where a member of the league played for his national team? How dare they do a report on that game, right? Or do you mean the sidebar on the right? In that case, it's chronological. The "random game" is the second leg of the semi-final.
Re: Assembly General Meeting Seems like they are still discussing the 35 yard rule and the shootout (lol)
Re: Assembly General Meeting Hearing from multiple people across more than one team and supporters group that meetings extended into today through lunch, which is why we haven't heard anything. Meetings just broke not long ago, and we'll be hearing news trickle down probably tomorrow.
Re: Annual General Meeting Members of the League have been tight lipped so far. Time is running out for the league to be sanctioned. Expect it to be like this till just before or right after MLS Cup, looks like that will be the deadline All I could get was that 11 teams or groups were present, one from Austin looking to start a team there in the near future. http://bit.ly/bLFfZv
Re: Assembly General Meeting ok andy. its not a league, you are right. besides you trying to pull something out of what i said, and besides the most recent articles put up, you are telling me that nasl.com is properly maintained to be even a league that they want to be throughout this past season? distorted photos, multiple pages on the website not up to date, multimedia updated rarely, etc.? no professional league in America would have its league web page look like that.
Re: Assembly General Meeting Except for, yanno, the USL, until about two months ago. Or the MLS, at the start of this season.
Re: Annual General Meeting I'd also love Austin to return to pro soccer. But the minority owners that I can think of, well, let's just say I have mountains of doubt.
