What did Record (or elsewhere) say about Chivas and Real that made Vergara tweet Real is staying?

I guess Bielsa isn't coming? Or was it Rijkaard?;)

Vergara said we will get refuerzos. All we need is a goddamned centro delantero (carreno i hope). We are set in defense and media.

We definitely need an experienced striker, and even though our defence was solid I still think we should bring in an LB. Aldrete and De Nigris would be great additions to our club.

I still insist on playing with the team we have. These are the same players that made it to libertadores, the same ones that set a record.

Our team is very solid. They're young, they can only get better.

but since no one can finish plays, I say we bring in Denigris, as a loan for year, which Vasquez and other young stikers shapen up.

Even this season, which people call mediocre, we played really, I would say outplayed the best the top teams.

We have the second best defense right now, even as shaky as it was and with all of the injuries, we created a bunch of dangerous plays in every game.

We were very dependant of Chicharito, and we couldnt find his replacement this season.

Jose Luis Real needs to stay. We accomplished great things in a short time with his as coach.

No, hell no. Did you not learn anything from Ochoa, Borg, Bravo? We need a young up and coming striker that can move, because we are pretty fast; kind of what chicharito did for us. I still love carreno. He needs to be fast, and an area striker.

It'd be good for his carrer and El Tri ... with a little 'Chivas hype' behind him, he could be a candidate for Europe in a short time!:D

What I learned from the Ochoa/Borg season, was that this is when Chicharito made his leap and became a starter. I'm not sold on any of the young strikers. I think we need a veteran who can score under pressure, but am perfectly comfortable with him going to the bench if a youngster is playing better than him.
    Chivas Hype Machine ftw!!

Why bring in Carreno when we already have Michel Vasquez? Dont get me wrong, I think Carreno is a good prospect but at this point we just need some experience. An injury free De Nigris can get us at least 7 goals per season.

Whether de Nigris or someone else, imagine distributing 7 goals among our wins, ties, and losses this season. Even with 3 during wins, 2 during ties, and 2 during losses (avoiding the Jaguares 0-3 loss) gets us an extra 6 points, and 1 point out of 3rd place overall.

Claro, que si mi abuela tuviera ruedas ...

    She'd look like this?

Based on the stats on MT...

DeNigris has scored 40 goals in over 10k minutes in Primera.
How much is Monterey asking for this guy?

I'd rather bring we bring Nery aboard. He is in need of a little Chivas Hype (TM).

Why? Well let me tell you why.

    -Carreno is 22 yrsold
-He is an established proven player
-Real seems not to have a lot of confidence in him(Vasquez) as of yet
-Carreno has more qualities, proven qualities
    a-High futbol iq
b-Like chicharo, he can finish cabeza, left and right
c-He plays inside and outside the area

among other things. Carreno in the time when Denigris was hurt and suazo was in europe, he scored 7 goles in 9 games. All he needs is a chance, and chivas can give him that, since he is benched because of denigris and suazo. This is our guy, mark my words. But thats if we get him.

So he played a total of 6 games this season and he's considered a proven player? Vasquez is good he just needs some time to settle into first division football. Dont forget it took Chicharito 3 years to consolidate himself as a first division player. I still remember some posters said Chicharito was garbage when he was struggling to find some playing time. lol pendejos

Hes actually played a total of 37 games with 15 goles, and the majority of goles are the most reason as he has gotten more opportunity. But after suazo came they just benched him because you cant bench suazo and denigris.

Also, chicharito actually won playing time. Vasquez on the other hand doesnt seem to be trusted as he only has a handful of minutes.

Right, mostly youth? have you forgotten that bofo and bravo were in there most of the games in the beginning, before they got hurt? That doesnt bode well for your wish to get some more old, slowass, petardos.

Our current team has the team defense. This same team broke a record last season and made it to the finals of libertadores.

This same team has been capable to out play every team this season. Injuries and losing our best player has affected us a lot.

They are young, they can only get better.
this team is good enough, but yes we need adjustments in certain areas. We have to be the best, always.

Dude, a season ago this team was championship material, but what happened? One player left. Chicharito. That one player/position effed this whole team up, we just cant score, the rest of the team is the same.

I was talking about this season bro. He has 1 goal in six games played. If he's an established player than he should be playing more than 6 games.

Right but it took him 3 years before he really started getting regular minutes. Vasquez is still in a development process. He's not gonna come in and score 15 goals right off the bat. We need to be patient with him just like we were patient with Chicharito and Fabian.

hmmm i guess you forgot the petardos who carried the team to the Libertadores final.
That one position you need a player who has presence on the field, at this point Vasquez doesn't and De Nigris does, he is perfect for bofo's service. The only way Vasquez will get better is to have competition and a Mentor in that team. As Choul has stated Chicharito beat out both Borgetti and Ochoa, This team needs balance.
