On top of that, the club is happy with Kagawa playing behind the striker.

Another thing. You can't sell players like Hajnal, Feulner, Rangelov and Kuba if no one wants them.


BVB were just trying to sell Hajnal and reportedly Rangelov.

Also, players who aren't in demand don't draw good fees even if someone buys them.

Those facts don't change no matter how badly you want your fantasy.


More. If Misimovic really wanted to stay in Germany, he'd be a Schiesse 04 player right now.

They just spent 13M on a guy to play the position Magath wanted Misimovic for.

If Misimovic really wanted to "stay in Germany", he could have forced Wolfsburg to sell him to Scheisse.

My guess is that Galatasaray offered him a salary package he couldn't refuse.

He didn't only make comments about wanting to stay in Germany, but he's also said that he's never played outside of Germany in his career and he might want to take that chance while he still can.

And he obviously did.

The rumors that have Dimitar Rangelov moving to Maccabi Tel-Aviv are still flying around.


According to BVB spokesman Josef Schneck, the two clubs have agreed on a transfer fee.


Rangelov must approve the deal for it to be completed.


The reason this deal can go through is because the transfer period in Israel doesn't end until September 7th.

Borussia Loan Bulgarian Striker to Maccabi Tel Aviv






German Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund has formally loaned Bulgarian striker Dimitar Rangelov to Maccabi Tel Aviv.

An announcement on the website of the Israeli club has made it clear that Rangelov has passed all tests successfully, and has signed a contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The 27-year-old Bulgarian striker will play on loan for Maccabi for one season, and the Israeli club will have the right to purchase him from Borussia if they are satisfied with his performance.

Dimitar Rangelov Moves To Maccabi Tel Aviv

BVB striker Dimitar Rangelov is moving to Israeli first division club Maccabi Tel Aviv on a season-long loan deal.


The move is effective immediately.


The move is being made after a verbal agreement between the two clubs and the Bulgarian striker.


Rangelov joined Borussia Dortmund in summer 2009 from Energie Cottbus.

This kicker article (in German) speculates that Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are all intersted in 1860's 17-year old all-rounder Moritz Leitner.

A snag in any deal might be that 1860 wants to have the player loaned back to them for a year or two at the time of the deal.

I think all three clubs could handle that proposition.

The thing will be, will they want to?


Leitner, an attacking midfielder, can play the ball and shoot with both feet and has one assist in seven 2. Liga appearances with 1860 so far this season.

I can tell you from watching them and him that he's better than that. He's just on a crappy 1860 team.

Leitner has three goals and two assists in four appearances with the Germany U-19 team. I think I have to mention that two of his goals were in Germany's 10-0 blowout of Andorra.

Leitner did not play in the 1860-BVB friendly before the start of the season.


Would I call Leitner "Bundesliga Ready?"

No. But I do believe Leitner is a talent worth going after.

Damn!! Now that I think about it, I didn't think Sven Bender was quite "Bundesliga Ready" either.


I think with the talent we already have at striker and in midfield, if we buy Leitner and sign him to a four or five-year contract with a one or two season loan back to 1860, that would be just fine.



Another young 1860 player I hope BVB is interested in is 1860's 18-year old striker/offensive all-rounder Kevin Volland.

Volland is left footed, also a Germany U-19 international and scored 4 goals in that rout of Andorra.

Volland has also scored for the U-19's against the Dutch.

In three Regionalliga appearances for 1860 II, Volland has four goals.

But it isn't the goals that has me interested in Volland. It is the performance he had against us in the friendly for 1860.

I know we've got a very good striker coming up in Daniel Ginzeck. I don't want to stop his growth, but a player like Volland could put a light under players like LeTallec and possibly even fill in for Grosskreutz, giving us more flexibility with Mario Götze.

Even if they don't play striker, I can see Volland being Grosskreutz's full-time backup and sometimes starter and Volland eventually replacing Kuba on the right.

This would truly allow us to keep Mario Götze's focus in the center if we want to.

 

I knew we would agree on this one!

 

I don't know who the agents for both players are.

If the kids want money, they'll go to Bayern, Leverkusen or Scheisse.

If they want to play, they'll join us, Stuttgart or Bremen.

And you can bet that even though they weren't mentioned in the kicker article, Scheisse, Stuttgart and Bremen have interest.

There's a rumor up on Transfermarkt.de speculating that VfB Stuttgart could be interested in young BVB right back Julian Koch to fill their hole at right back. Koch is currently on loan to 2nd Bundesliga club MSV Duisburg as they signed sorry ass Philipp Degen before this season and they don't seem to be happy with 21-year old Stefano Celozzi.

Before he joined VfB from KSC, many, including myself, saw Celozzi as a future Germany or Italy international.

I titled my original message "Stupid Stuttgart Media" is because in their article, they say Koch's contract runs out at the end of this season.

It is obvious to me that some stupid f#cking Stuttgart columnist went to Transfermarkt.de, searched for right backs out of contract at the end of the season and speculated that VfB Stuttgart will go after the better names on the list.

Which would include Koch.

Except for one thing. Koch's "contract" doesn't run out at the end of this season.

HIS LOAN DEAL AT DUISBURG DOES!!

He's under CONTRACT to us through 2012 and you can bet your ass BVB will extend that contract during or after this season.
