I think he has three goals against them in two games, if I'm not mistaken. However, had we played the first have like we did for most of the second half- we would have stomped them out completely.

 

That's almost impossible, the last cycle (save for some games with Vasco) was characterized for giving up early goals and having to claw our way back into games.

In this game, Duenas was awful and constantly failed to clear simple balls.

Salcido tried to get real fancy and lost the ball and subsequently committed the foul that lead to Arango's first goal.

 

That's two games he's cost us the early goal because he was trying to get cute...in the wrong end of the field.

Salcido can try whatever on the offensive side of the field, but it's irritating seeing him try all of that fancy stuff on the defensive side.

 

Rafa's unnecessary foul in the second half led to a yellow for him and Arango's second goal.

Memo's stupidity kind of allowed that goal though. What's happened to Memo?

 

Arango's goal was in the first half.

Duenas may have played like crap and Salcido may be tryin to get cute on defense and maybe Rafa's a dumbass for committing stupid fouls, but that doesn't take away from the fact that Arango scored two goals from QUITE a distance that should HAVE been stopped by the GK. Memo's the one trying to get cute to get that diving poster photo at the expense of the MNT.

Ochoa can't jump anymore. He seems lazy in his movements and his reflexes don't make up for his bad positioning anymore.
