She is in her prime. Young enough to still go into dual with the best of them and old and experienced enough to do it with intelligence.

Night, Weibel, SoccerReigns, Scal, RUfan, and everyone else who's hung in there this season and last, THANKS. Just seeing this board pick up some steam has really put a smile on my face.

Watch out folks, Christie Rampone is "done sugar coating" and I'm going to sit back and enjoy the show. Maybe I'll even sign up for twitter... and she'll likely get fined for talking bad about the refs

    yep christie is on fire!
If she gets fined for her comments, that's stupid. The ref clearly made a mistake by giving a penalty, she can give a comment about it. I know in our mens league here, players also say things like this in front of the camera... Of course if you do it constantly it becomes pathetic but in a state of disappointment and frustration after such an important match, there's nothing wrong with it. Soccer is all about emotions.

Uuggh and that Wambach is so annoying, she and Cheney are the main reasons that I can't support uswnt anymore if Tasha isn't in it. The repulsive feelings I get when I see them play are to big. I don't have reasonable arguments for it, just can't stand them :D and Wombat made it worse after this saturday.

Painful loss but still hoping for the play-offs! If we still succeed to get in there, it would feel double as sweet because everybody probably is going to be pissed off if we manage to do it. :p

What a drag. Tragic Lloyd error, yes, but unpleasing coaching. Should Lloyd be in so hastily with so little game time? & Too many player changes. Don't even know who this Jenn Grubb is. Now she is signed, starts and Koster is on the bench, then Koster is subbed for Kai - with 4 minutes to go? All baffling.

The Koster defensive sub made sense at the time (defending a 1-0 lead). Lloyd, well, I'd hardly call her 4 month rehab hasty. And it isn't unusual for coaches to ease a player back in w/ 20 or so minutes of action their first game back. But yeah, no excuse for her making that bad foul.

Jenn Grubb was a top shelf defender for ND & the WUSA Freedom. She's been coaching but tried out at the beginning of the season.

yea your right about the Lloyd sub..don't think too many people and players think it was a smart move to have her in ther when she hasn't played in months.......

I've noticed the SBFC facebook page has been a bit busier of late -- at least in terms of conversation & the SBFC folks interacting/responding to fans.

Well hopefully her injury can heal properly now so she can start en stay injury-free the next season.

How long before they start training again? And is it already known if Rick is gonna stay or not?
Very curious about what they're going to do now, I hope they don't just sign some good players without thinking about tactics but actually build a team around a few key players.
