yeppers. the only one side of that "triple edged sword" (ie Akers, Heinrichs, and Jennings). Ok really, what's the deal w/ Jennings & coaching. Why has she not left Navy? Did she not end up being that good of a coach? I had her pegged as a future WNT coach but definitely one to be running a big time program.
And Fawcett is Biefeld. (and Chastain is a forward but that's another matter altogether) Good times. and I'm a geezer. sigh eta: I'm guessing there is "great" hair in this particular video
RIP to the back four diamond formation. *lays down flowers and rips off shirt* Some of them had iffy maiden names.
I'd post more screenshots, but Handbrake (app) is taking 40 forevers to scan this disk ... god only knows what the convert time will be. I wish I weren't so geeky. Aside from having a life, I could just be content with not being able to do something. But I see computer and app problems as a personal challenge.
haha. what can i say. my dad's made a monster. Although i usually am highly jealous of people that have naturally good teeth. My cousin's teeth are perfect and I'm nto even sure if she's ever been to a dentist.
The video quality's not the best, but it's old. Nordby, with mullet. Funny, she looks older then than she does now.
don't major in Computers, you can never catch up with technology. With psychology, at least you know "your crazies" they don't evolve or become smarter that you within 6 months.. And to think that I drop med school because I didn't want to be studying all the time...
I know. But technology's awesome because you're all the time learning and seeing new things get made. It's like all the problems and frustrations you had with a PC 10 years ago no longer exists because someone identified the problem and then fixed it. I don't know. I'm playing around. I still have about a year before I need to decide. Probably longer, but I need to start zeroing in on some colleges.
Cross posted from the CPC: Can anyone explain to me the new U.S. 'overdraft protection' thing my bank's been barking at me about? I mean, if I don't get overdraft protection, and a $12 debit comes through and I have $2 in my account ... it just gets declined? What about when it's a direct purchase and goods were involved? Is it like bouncing a check at that point? And how does the store get their money? I'm confused. (I'm trying to decide if I should accept the coverage or not.)
This coming from someone who overdrafts maybe twice a year, usually on stupid shit like a pack of cigarettes or a coke and chips. Why, yes, I AM financially incompetent and a total moron when it comes to $$. Why do you ask?
i'm pretty sure its like bouncing a check, but going over usually has more severe penalties. there's the overdraft fee from each transaction you're over and i think it accumulates each day or something. i think that the transaction is cancelled and the store has the right to go after you to get their money. i'd call your bank and ask them. or better yet, do your banking online and check your balance daily so you know if you can debit the cigarettes or chips or whatever. save yourself 12 dollars and overdraft fees!
My father is bad about overdrawing. There's no way in hell I would spend more than I had or could make back timely. My time is so off from moving in. I thought we got to smack around those Cheesepuffs today. I now have Fox Soccer Channel thingy. ><
As near as I can figure accepting my banks overdraft coverage means they can still hit me with 35 bucks if I go negative. Declining the coverage means they decline my purchase and embarrass me, but I don't end up paying 37 dollars for a drink at Sonic (yep I did that). I ended up accepting it as I don't go negative often. I have friends that are chronic. One had 435 bucks worth of fees once, and that was just the fees part of the debt.
I haven't overdrawn my account since i was 17. My mom is a hound about spending wisely and within means.
As mine usually happen twice a year, I'm going to avoid it for a while and see what happens. The decline part doesn't bother me, as the vast, vast majority of my times going over were because my account gets shuffled and I'm off by $10 or less. I DO keep track of my account online quite a bit, but my problem is I'm not keeping my own ledger of what I'm spending or how much. I rely on my online account to do that. And while most everything hits as soon as I make a purchase, there are times when certain bills will drop off for a day or two after coming through the first time, then pop up later after I've spent a bit much. I think I'll keep my account without the protection until I get back from Norway, then sit down with my bank guy and set up a savings account(!) that I can link to my checking account and keep things like that. I need a savings account anyway. If it's out of sight, it's out of mind for me. That's a very good thing. Both my parents were pretty stupid with money when I was growing up and everything was done paycheck to paycheck. Which is absolutely bizarre, because my mom was an accountant for the longest time.
Damnit, I forget about fees and minimum balances. At any rate, I think I'm going to start putting 15% in every paycheck. That should be enough to keep them happy. -- I should be really writing down lists of things to do and take for my trip. Yet, here I sit. -- ATL airport has FIVE different Wi-Fi providers you can choose from. Really? -- I may have to get someone to text me on Aug. 30 with the draw results for the UEFA WCQ playoffs. I'm going to be on the move for 24 hours, starting at about 3 a.m. -- This may be the most welcome vacation EVER.
i've never been good with a savings account, but i have money stashed throughout the house. sometimes roommate comes across it and laughs at me calling me a great depression era baby. it'll be in an enveloped labeled with its intended purchase goal and then stashed somewhere. roommate and i have a joint checking account that we use for household stuff. its the only account where we both actually write down what we spend, like old timey check balancing. we try not to let it get below 1000 though. so far so good there. my mom brought me up with the philosophy of you don't cash one check until you have another in hand. when i was tiny and had allowance i couldn't spend week 1's allowance until i received week 3's.
Huh. I did the math at saving 15% of every paycheck and the result is quite staggering. I mean, I definitely don't make that much, but it adds up. Too bad I didn't go through this phase 10 years ago. Yay, being a dumbass.
Oh, and before I forget, lockhart, I owe you a PM. My bad. My trip and work are causing my brain to go soft.
