Hasta cuando tiene la FPF contrato con Walon? ojala que no renueven y que firmen contrato con Adidas o Nike.

Can you imagine a Nike kit for Peru? that' sell like hotcakes!!

Que marca deberia hacer la camiseta de la seleccion?

I'm not a rich man, and i know if Adidas were to manufacture those jerseys they'd be retailed to about 70-80 dollars, but I would honestly pay 300 right now for one!

PRICELESS!! semi-orgasm looking at that Adidas Peruvian Jersey

Re: Official Seleccion Peruana - Rebuilding for WCQ 2014 [R]

I'm telling you man, an Adidas or Nike kit would be sick! especially Adidas with the new techfit shirts, the tight ones, they'd look like the ones we used in Argetina 78 or Spain 82, when we were still somebody in international football.

Look, I know Walon is Peruvian and all, but all that "let's support a peruvian company or product" is total crap and bullshit, their product simply suck, it pales in comparison with a real sport manufacturer like Nike or Adidas.

If you want to be successful, you have to look the part, you have to surround yourself with successful people, and it doesn't get more successful than Nike or Adidas.

Walon may be Peruvian, but they just represent something to me: informality.

I agree we shouldn't support mediocre products just because they are Peruvian

    Huh?

What exactly is mediocre or informal about Walon or its products? They're a legit company.

And please don't anyone bring up Adidas' "technology" that sucks your sweat or doesn't let you sweat or turns your sweat into holy water or whatever the fuk they claim.

The only crappy thing about Walon is that it's not a global, multi-billion dollar company that everyone knows and thus is not cool. Simple as that.

Its alright for them to dress our national clubs but I would prefer the NT to be dressed by a brand with more reputation and prestige.

Sounds to me like someone's cousin's baby's daddy works for Walon. . .

Call me vain, or shallow but if Adidas or Nike were to sponsor the seleccion we would look like an actual contender. I wouldn't go as far as saying if we had those sponsors we'd be unstoppable or improve as a team. . .

But then again, if you're going out to a club and you had the choice of wearing a wal-mart outfit or a name brand one, which one would give you more confidence?

Last i checked Walon's Peru jersey is 40 USD, an Adidas jersey is 70. The quality is notable on a Adidas Jersey. I'm all for supporting a Peruvian business, but they need to step up the quality and appearance of the jersey.

I hate having to see Americans wear Peru's Adidas track top and not being able to purchase one! Actually I love it, makes me proud just hate the; not being able to purchase one part! ;) Peru has one of the most original Jerseys, and Walon, to me, isn't cutting it.

anyways, the Jersey is the least of our worries.

the quality it's fine on that jersey

I own a few of these plus and I use them to play regularly.... they do have a different feel but it's not like my Walon jersey has started to look like crap after a lot of use.... when I compare them to my Nike and adidas

i'll be honest with all of you guys I didn't buy this one:

I just didn't like the new look, the good thing with the adidas jersey would be the look:

it's unique and fresh but to say the quality it's a downgrade ... well that might be pushing it.

Que marca deberia hacer la camiseta de la seleccion?

So basically, appearance, recognition, how cool you'll look, what people will think, etc. Jack shit to do with quality.

Hey, we all fall for that superficial bullshit from time to time. The hard thing is to admit it.

I agree. Plus Walon knows the respect our jersey needs and wouldn't make any drastic changes to it. Unlike Adidas and Nike that always add generic collars/stripes/etc. to all of their jerseys (and those undershirts some players are starting to wear!). Let's not even get started on how shit Puma's jerseys look these days.

Segun El Bocon (I know, I know...) Peru volvera a usar Umbro:

    http://elbocon.pe/nota.php?sid=110

I don't think is a bad choice, the U, Cristal and San Martin kits are not bad, and I really like the England kit.

At least it is a respect brand and not "Walon"...
