New Name Poll. Just thought I would add another poll with some different names and a few that were popular in the last poll done. And some probably have changed their minds since they last voted. Oops misspelled Atletico lol.
I voted Miami FC, but only if Miami MLS & Miami FC merges into one club. My second choice would be Miami Union, if these two clubs merge or if Philly doesnt use it. My third choice would be Miami Fusion.

I'm still gunning for Atletico Miami because we are south florida, a very hispanic populated city, I mean they did monday night for the dolphins as hispanic heritage month, now why can't we have Atletico Miami as a team name for an MLS expansion?!?!?!?!
How about C.D. Miami for Club Deportivo Miami... Well if you have sharks or vice will there b a Miami Vice F.C.?? I kind of like the vice although what would the mascot be lol and our fight song in the air tonight by phil collin lol, that song is cool, ill admit.. I dont think I really like Sharks though as almost all the big teams here have a fixh in them, I mean like the Seattle Sounders FC have something related to their city I guess Miami Vice F.C. would go good with it but what colors though like black and green/ or blue?? or how about a black and red?
There are only two acceptable names for any future South Florida MLS team now that it appears any future team would not have foreign club involvement(i.e. Barça). Dade County - Miami Fusion FC, Broward County - Ft. Lauderdale Strikers. Case closed. With all the complaints about marketing around the Fusion and MFC, it would be downright nutty for a future team to once again abandon a popular team name of the past. The Fusion blew it by not going with Strikers, but since they did that, Fusion grew on everyone and MFC dropped the ball by not picking that name up. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Dont want to rain on your parade but, it doesnt hurt to dream... This actually came up in a dream... that we had a team and the name was Magic City F.C then I looked up Magic city and I was shocked that Maimi is actually called the Magic City.. I being real young and all never knew that miami was the Magic city... it would be great to name the team after the citys nickname..no?? Magic City F.C. Kinda like Manchester City F.C. but with an american sport name twist to it.. Or just Deportivo Miami, I mean Deportivo would be the general name for the team in Miami if they were to get a team, everybody would know who they talkin about when they say Deportivo 305....
I've got you covered, I have a Miami MLS idea for all seasons lol: When I first posted this(must've been over a year ago), most people thought "but the magic city is Orlando!!". I had to correct them. I actually really like the name Magic City United(or just Magic City for short) but now I'm kind of set in my opinion that any future team needs to revive one of the two D1 names form the past(Strikers, Fusion) and relight a torch that never should have been extinguished.

Miami City FC or AC Miami miami needs to be the first MLS team taht has a City in the name or a AC for athletic club and they could have a soccer team and academy and basketball and whatever. go in with the heat.

Redesigned a "shield" - I kind of like Magic City A.C. so, I have incorporated the Italian oval shield inside the "Rosario Central" C -- which in our case would obviously stand for "City". Hope you all like... Will be working on the kits...

Magic City sucks. granted, it's going to be y'alls team so do whatever the hell yall want. but it still sucks. also, wouldn't it be better for whatever team it is to be called Florida ???
