Didn't we do the same against Yugoslavia in one of the last Euros? I know we made the winning goal in the absolute last second of the game (fantastic game that was) I don't know if we made the equaliser just before that though.

Euro 2000, we scored a penalty to tie in the 94th minute, then won it in the 95th minue from Alfonso's goal.

I dunno, this team is worrying me. I sure hope they're taking it easy. Because this team doesn't look cohesive at all. Who would've thought that Llorente and Navas would be the guys to save us from draws with S.Arabia and S.Korea? I don't like this.

No worries, this team will get it act together. When it is time to play, they will step it up!

Yes a Betico saved Spain's ass! :D That is when Mendieta was on a tear. If I am not mistaken Raul then missed a PK against France in the first round of the KO stage in a game that Spain had no right to even be a goal down against France, based on a lousy performance. The sports bar I was in was full of French nationals and we all agreed that Spain sucked that day and the PK call the ref made he pulled out of his arse.

I hope you're right. Better to peak during the Cup than in friendlies. For me personally, the World Cup is tops on my list, then Champions League.

I'm also worried after watching the last two friendlies! I sure hope the team is taking it easy to avoid injuries and do step up in the World Cup. I wonder if the pressure is getting to them.

You guys need to relax a bit and not overreact on the friendlies. These are warmup matches and serves the purpose of letting the coach know who to start. Both games had two completely different lineups.

Edit: Also wanted to add that the most important thing in the warmup to the WC is to stay healthy. Look at all of the other teams injuries now. You could almost make a world all star team with the amount of players droping.

Robben was hurt in Holland's friendly today, probably out for the whole cup.

Also missing will be Mikel of Nigeria.
