http://utalk.att.com/t5/TV-Programming/Latest-in-FSC-quot-News-quot-from-AT-amp-T/m-p/217854#M50373 I'm guessing that the customer service representative who said that "FS+ will be pulled from every provider except DirecTV, who will have exclusive rights" is lying every which way. I'm sure someone can confirm this.
that's not going to happen. Brighthouse in Tampa just added FS+ HD last Wednesday there's no way its going to be pulled if they signed a deal recently.
Yeah, that's why i'm calling shenanigans. It's a shame that CSRs can't say "we have no information on your request at this time, but we'll put it into the system as another request."
Bright House hasn't added it yet. They were supposed to, but it's been delayed and the reps I have spoken to were not aware as to why.
I can simply confirm that I was watching FSC+ on Dish Network just last night and have heard/seen nothing about their emminent removal (of course I observed no advance warning when GOLTV was dropped year or so ago either.)
yeah....I've been debating half switching to brighthouse from DTV since they were gonna get FS+ HD but I just got a reply from them saying it was delayed....how can adding a channel be delayed unless its a technical problem...will you be on the bus to Miami Dan G??
i also can't believe that Fox refused to show the Greek League final or the Prague Derby. How could they? Don't they know about all the soccer fans in the US? This is an outrage!
What about the preliminary play in round that gets to the sub regional double elimination qualifier for the first round proper of the Luxembourg FA Cup? Those games are always thrillers, I can't believe that FSC/FS+ ignores those fans. Its an outrage, I wish ESPN still had all the soccer coverage...
I spoke to a rep yesterday and they told me that it was indeed a technical problem. They said it should be resolved within 2 weeks. I'd love to be on that bus, but I have no way to get to it. I did secure myself a ride to the home opener however.
For Fox to show the Greek Cup final they would have to get the rights, and currently the rights to that competition in North America are held by Antenna Satellite.
*insert comment about how ESPN expects to buy Greek league and how within two years it will lead US ratings, making the NFL 2nd place in the American sports landscape*
Wow. I actually recognize the names of three Greek teams after one (Panathinaikos) came to mind. The other two were Olympiacos and AEK Athens.
if FSC cared they would have showed [result]Eddie Johnson's 2 goals[/result] against Olympiacos today instead of friggin Sky Sports News or Magners League replays or something. I'm sure ESPN would have done it because they actually care about soccer. Plus I hear Skip Bayless and Jemele Hill are gigantic Nikopolidis fans. Josh Childress would make a great target man for Derbyshire
I haven't called DISH and asked, but I used to be able to see what was on FS +, yet the other day I noticed that I couldn't anymore. Maybe there is something to that.
