i disagree. the person to blame is claudio lotito, who's put together a team full of bums. when the chips are down, these guys won't get the job done.

lotito def gets some of the blame.

but year the old outplay-them-but-lose seems to happen in the derby quite often. I feel pretty good about the rest of this campaign and safely avoiding the bottom three. Gotta play with this passion the rest of the way.

No wonder you guys were caught in calcipoli along with Juve, Milan and Fiorentina. Cheating is in your blood. How Radu gets away with no punishment is just to ensure Lazio will stay in Serie A. He deserved 3 game suspension.

And dont come to me about Totti, he did nthg wrong. Showing thumbs down to the roma fans. There was nthg wrong in that.

nothing wrong? thumbs down to the roma fans? Mah ******** off you blind twat. HE was giving the thumbs down to Lazio fans. How would you feel if a peasant insulted you? same thing. Your post has zero value to me. Everything you said is 100% false.

The only reason why there is a calciopoli debate is because its good luck before the world cup you blind sheep. go back to your Merdista forum. I must applaud your bravery in your attempt to attack Lazio but you have failed miserably. Now ******** off to your glory hunting Merda forum.

Anyways, after I have filtered out some Merdista fans in this holy thread I shall go on into todays game.

A great display away to Genoa. Like Reja says, we do play better away because we do not feel the fans breathing down our backs with expectations. Muslera fantastiic game but again we conceded another dumb goal, but we bounced back with a great mentality to keep fighting. Andre Dias really played a perfect game not only scoring that towering header goal to being us level, but he covered the back as if his life depended on it. Nothing went through Dias tonight whereas his first games with Lazio, he couldn't even kick a bouncing ball.

Floccari must get a mention. His second goal was superb and he used his strong body to shrug off the defender and guide it in sharp angle past Scarpi for the winner. He might of cost us 3 points last week, but he certainly got us 2 more points today. He played a great game and almost had two assists if Mauri didn't suck so bad.

Its looking more and more like the 20million signing of Zarate was a mistake. He is not what he used to be from last season and is having trouble with his dribbling. He keeps running into more defenders if he isn't stopped by the fist defender already. This season he is not producing and hopefully this offseason break can give him mental state a rest. We need the old Zarate back if we want to continue to win honors.

All in all a great game by Lazio. We have been playing very well recently and its too bad we havn't been playing like this throughout the season.

Forza Lazio Ale Ale Ale..Ale Ale Ale..Ale Ale Ale.

Big win today, this should ensure our survival for this season. With Atalanta losing on Saturday to Inter we are now 6 points clear.

3 points from Inter, @Livorno and vs Udinese would guarantee our salvezza. This team have played well of late and Reja seems to understand this team better than Ballardini ever could. Reja understood what we have and how to make a system fit his players rather than tinkering week after week and forcing players to play out of character. Lazio are now 5W-4L-3D since he took over and 4-1-2 in their last 7, and we know the one loss wasn't indicative of their performance. Btw isn't it interesting that Roma outplay Samp but lose 2-1 on the only 2 chances they conceded during the match.

A win or draw vs Inter could be a serious moral boost for the off season, and we know Inter will either be riding high or complacent or angry or discouraged after the biggest match for the club in 20+ years. Will find out Wednesday and than Sunday what kind of Inter we will face.

Next Sunday I will not be a Lazio fan. Go Internazionale for the Scudetto. Anything to keep Totti's fingerprints off that trophy.

thankfully we have some breathing space. Give Reja credit, but also the january additions have settled in well: Floccari, Dias and Biava.

Do you guys really think Lazio will lay down for Inter and risk relegation just so roma can lose the scudetto? I mean don't they need 1 point at least? In the event of a tie, Atalanta lost to Lazio 1-0 but then beat them 3-0......Therefore, Lazio would be relegated so you really think they would lay down?

To answer your question Falvo, we can talk the talk all day until I see the first half and I can tell you. Lotito and Reja said 'we will treat these last 3 games like finals' but it wouldn't seem right.

First Merda fans and players were gloating how they are the best and the players making references to insult our position in the table, and now your guys need us more than ever. It would basically SS Lazio handing over ASR the scudetto. I don't know what to say. Our talk is we will play it like a final, but what Lazio fan wants to hand over Totti the scudetto.

Which brings me to another observation. It wasn't too long ago people were talking about Lazio in Serie B and it wasn't too long ago Totti signaled we are going to serie b. NOOOW all the sudden all these Merdista in the media are saying Lazio are the only team who can stop them blah blah blah. Heh, you guys insisting we are spiraling to serie b and now your saying we can stop the serie a leaders. Give me a break.

Its an ignorant and/or neanderthal way of thinking IMHO, especially in this day and age. I remember vividly how two ultimate Romanisti in Carlo Mazzone and Luciano Gaucci, handed Lazio their last scudetto 10 years ago when Perugia beat Juventus in a downpour allowing Lazio to win their second scudetto. When I saw Gaucci greet the then Lazio and former Roma coach Sven Goran Erickson, they were all ecstatic with joy. Serigio Cragnotti and Franco Sensi contrary to all the media jibes, were the best of firends.....therefore, I can not see how the teams would really be so full of hate. If in fact this hate transcends from the fans to the players, coaches and presidents, that Perugia team could have easily lost and threw in the towell but they instead went all out to beat Juventus on that day.

It has happened before, and I would like top see it again even if it means the Scudetto for Roma. As much as I hate Roma during the derby, they deserve the Scudetto after 5 2nd places finishes in this decade.

Back to Lazio and Inter, this has to be one of the most memorable Lazio victories

Look at the players Lazio had compared to now! That was a great team wth Couto, Fiore and Poborsky.

the fact is we probably can't beat Inter even at full strength, even with them distracted midweek. I think Lazio will play all-out, but the best bet would be a draw.

"Building on a different relationship between Lazio and AS Roma, overcoming rivalry. On friendship and not just on the fratricide war that threatens to damage both."

"I was wrong, I admit, and I regret it . Now in retrospect I find really unfair the way I enjoy, and I still ask excuse if someone may have been touched" (About his thumbs down gesture)

"I think it's got the opportunity to change the relationship between the two companies to create a strong and lasting friendship."

    --

Pathetic attempt on Totti to try to make Lazio a friend of ASR. This guy is just too much.

Actually, he apologized for that gesture and I don't think he was meaning for them to drop down Serie B. Either way, regardless of what Totti is did , does or thinks, if Lazio bows down to Inter, just so Roma willl lose scudetto while at the same time risk relegation , it would be worse than any calciopoli scandal ever.

The thing is its still unlikely that we can bear inter even if we were willing to go for a good result. So bow down or not, it may very well end up being the same result.

PS. Totti knew EXACTLY what he was doing. He ment to offend the Lazio fans. Lets get real here. He didn't mean anything else by that gesture.

I don't see what the big deal is. I mean regardless, of the thumbs down, Totti is and/or was not responsible for Lazio's horrid season. He wasn't the one who wouldn't play or who sold Pandev or for that matter, who fired or let Delio Rossi go. Everyone wants to find a scapegoat and because Totti is the face of Roma, he is getting the blame but seriously who really cares what Francesco Totti did , does or thinks? I think Totti's thumbs down is the least of Lazio's problems.

you know, your right. why should i give a flying **** what this uneducated tool says. his words should merit zero value to me. but its so hard when this childish "roman gladiator" opens his mouth. he's an idiot on the other side of the fence throwing insults and then pleading to us.

regardless of what totti says, it will be very hard to get something out of our inter game coming up. we just have to wait and see

He wasn't the one who said anything. I think it was De Rossi who said he was thinking Lazio coiuld beat Inter. Either way, I think think Lazio may be able to salvage a draw. Inter has so much on their plate with the CL , I think they will falter sooner or later and Lazio is playing well....

Post #390. He wants Lazio and ASR to have a 'strong and lasting friendship.' All this talk out of his asshole after he gestured Irriducibilli. He wants this to happen right before a huge game heavily holding ASR's fate. Does Totti not sound like a moron to you?
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzmwRMyzzQE"]YouTube- Totti singing popopo[/ame]
Tried to sing seven nation army. buddy not even close.

Yes, your almighty 'Roman Gladiator #2 waiting for Totti to retire to claim the real title' also said this. Though I have much more respect for him.

Yes underachieving Lazio are playing well, Inter must be fatigued, which leaves the probability open to get a draw and help out ASR to win the scudetto. All Laziale in the media has promised a strong game though I hope they dont personally.

I don't get why you care so much about this as its really not that big of a deal.......................I think Lazio fans should worry more about getting relegated than what Totti or DeRossi say or do.....

To each his own but I just don't get what any of this has to do with or see a correlation (in relation to Lazio) of what opposing players say or do.... Anyway, I hope they stay up too as I can't imagine a Serie A without a Rome derby!
