hahhaha... the SG its called 1906 Ultras not just the ultras... ok, go to our webside and learn why...
La Doce is the famous Barra Brava de Boca Juniors from Argentina. If you ask anyone in the world (except USA) they would tell you.

All I'm saying is that if you want to grow and one day be as famous as the real La Doce why use their same name?

We are the 1906 Ultras and we are famous in Romania... !!!! (all ultras members know)

Again, out of curiosity, did it sound like this new group was manufactured by the FO, or is the FO just doing a little extra to promote them to the hispanic audience?

Each SG seems to have their own flavor and that's fine.

I don't care from what background or ethnic origin a person comes from ...... but if you TRULY LOVE & ENJOY the sport better recognized as FUTBOL, CALCIO, SOCCER, VOETBAL, FOOTBALL etc. then you will get to the games by your OWN FREE WILL ... and not because you are being single targeted, or pulled into the sport or for that matter given special preference. solamente my 2 centavos

This is true and is accepted, but division is not good in SG groups that stand right next to eachother.

The creators or members of la doce work in the front office. I was just wondering if la doce supports the earthquakes because they have a passion of our quakes or because they are being paid by the front office.

I am all for a supporters group with a Latin Feel. That said....

The last game should have been evidence that three different supporters groups sitting close together in the stadium has the potential to create a concophony of noise and not well orchestrated chants. The last thing we need is three different sets of people doing three differnet cheers as loud as they can all in the same general section of the stadium. These groups need to get together and come up with at least a few chears that they can all combine together on. Also, there should be a limit on the size(directly influences volume) and number of drums allowed into the stadium.

The Front Office needs someone to do some research about what does and does not work with multiple supporters groups. I would bet that they would find putting them right next to each other and not having them work with each other does not work well.

I'm totally in support of another group-and the latin flavor is great, for God's sake we're in California. i think some separation would be nice, but only to keep the noise level up throughout the stadium. The leader of all 3 groups should coordinate on just 2-3 chants or songs (one in english, one in spanish maybe?) that at various points during the game maybe by waving a flag that starts it they're all cheering the same thing at the same time- this will bring in the rest of the crowd sitting down maybe. that's about all the coordination any of us should expect really, just to keep it simple.

I thought the La Doce guys did a good job- and drums are a good thing, especially for all of us rhythm-impaired folks out there. Casbah used to have 'em regularly- i know one guy who retired (argentinian too, by the way), maybe it's time to bring some real horns in!

Part of why you guys shouldn't be standing together. The SG's are all quite different in character and should be spread out around the stadium accordingly, including this new La Doce.

Honestly I don't understand why the hell the FO has to create a new SG,instead of helping the ones already there, all these moves of setting the 2 SGs together even if they are different in their way of supporting and creating a new SG, doesn't send a good message of their (the FO) intentions.

It's all about being a copycat when it comes to starting a an SG in the USA.
    Good luck to you all.

Well if I'm not mistaken the FO didn't move the Ultras willy nilly. The Ultras if I'm not mistaken had input into being moved, and so did the Casbah, with the current combined in 109 situation was the result (which IMO is a mistake). Either group can correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe all of you can explain to the rest of us why you all compare differences with each other rather than focus on the commonality of the love of the blue??? It does not make sense. How can anyone possibly understand a supporters group that fights with other supporters groups all supporting the same thing, ideal, team or organization?

Please don't use so many drums. The nonstop pounding of drums throughout the games this year has been beleaguering. If your group wants to drum, please limit it to a very small number, or at the very least please limit the drumming overall. Perhaps when we have our nice new and larger stadium the drums won't be so bad. But in tiny Buck Shaw, they overwhelm the place. Just a casual observer. Thanks.
