What a beautiful goal by Lenhart. The chest trap and volley. Good stuff.

Will someone please find a proper song for the man? A simple chant will no longer suffice.

    Epic status: Achieved.

Great goals thanks to some great passes. He is still way too inconsistent for me. He was lucky to not receive a yellow or get sent off for his random shoving and getting in the face of guys who did nothing to him. Plus he comes back way to far into the midfield for the ball when he's playing high. If he can just control his temper and play his position he could have some success.

Lenhart for the National Team??? ;):D

Seriously, I didn't expect Columbus to be able to pull it back in the 2nd half, but a combination of roughing up (not saying that it was right, but that it worked) the Toluca players to throw them off their game, Lenhart finishing his chances and Renteria giving some shape to the attack made the tie possible.

Congrats, and good luck in Mexico!

Am I being cray in thinking there's a possibility that the 1st goal could be on the Sportscenter Top 10?

I didnt say he was as good he just made similar moves. One example was his 1st goal.

whenever my sons need an example of a striker hustling back on defense or an example of heart, we'll watch this match.

    Lenhart is a legend.

If you think the Toulca players 'did nothing to him' you weren't paying attention. That said, I agree he needs to control his temper. O'rourke was even more lucky to not get at least a yellow. He completely lost him temper early in the second half and started fouling like the Hacksaw of 2006/07.

Goals 2 and 3 would be candidates but the build-up on the 1st one was top notch too. The last one still was a great combo between Renteria and Lenny but it was the weakest of the four tonight.

You should have seen the look on his face when the ball came through--like "how the &^%* did I get *that* open"

Am I the only one who thinks he kinda plays like jozy, not as smooth mind you but big and physical. Allways lobbying for position, I dont think he is as athletic but he makes up with hustle.

Great game by Lenhart. Not just the goals - the first goal in particular was a beautiful golazo - but the hustle, the hold up play, the harassing defense that started with him up top....it all contributed to a wonderful overall performance.

Heck, he was still going jsut as hard at the end as he was at the beginning. Not bad for a "preseason" performance.

One of the Toluca players punched Lenhart early in the first half. It looked to me like the ref or the near side AR should have seen it, but they either didn't see it or chose to ignore it (along with a lot of other stuff they ignored).

The Cabbage Patch Assassin strikes gold.

If Robbie knew how to cross the ball he could've had more.
