They've been hovering around 6.6/7, but they've had steady growth the last year. I believe they were in the mid 3s last March, and aside from an early downspell early this month they've been continuing to slowly but surely go higher. Yesterday was a good day after a bad end-of the week, what I'm curious to see is how the possible (inevitable?) Greek collapse will effect the members of the aptly named STUPID. (Spain, Turkey, UK, Portugal, Italy, Dubai)
Also-if you're looking for long-term gains look into GE, I wouldn't be surprised if it tops out at 60 in the long-run. (Long-run being 1-2 years)
Ah yes the PIGS of Europe as we are known. Well Portugal seems to be stabilizing as the 3 billion Euro bond is being taken in by investors finally. Greece is another factor altogether, their debt is at 120% of the Country Annual GDP, and if they default on the payment, where no one wants to give them more credit, it will affect the other PIGS of Europe(Portugal, Spain, Ireland) and further send the Euro down against the CAD and USD. It would also send the UK pound down as well. Hell it could cause the system to destabilize. So of course the EURO's particularly France, Germany have no choice but to help Greece. But then Portugal might also ask for help. For me as a foreigner, and not having anything tied in Euro, seeing the value decrease can only make me happier this summer.
Only thing I see coming up is Fraser with the symbol WEST. Judging from the chart-alone, I'm not too sure. Over the course of a year they wound up back around the same place. They had that nice bump period May-July, but I'm wondering how pissed whoever bought it was come mid-November when it basically anchored back down to pre-rise pricing.
