Sunday 16.45 greek time - 9.45 US Eastern time - Aris vs. Iraklis

We will discuss it in the respective Yanks Abroad Gameday topic.

And, of course, for those one who seek a torrent for the game, send a message to the member "kalnik3" (https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/member.php?u=162207) who is ARISmania's administrator, the tracker that uploads all games of Aris. (www.arismania.com). He can send you an invitation to the tracker, so that you can all subscribe and download Aris' games.

Anybody want to explain to me why the Adu thread has a picture of Beckham in his underwear in it?

Greetings from me too! I m a fan of Aris as well and i m gonna watch the game Aris vs Iraklis in 4 hours.
Gonna post some pictures later :)
Every fan of Aris is waiting for the moment Adu and Johnson will play their first official game!
Especially for Adu since our left wing is really low quality, in opposite our right wing is full of talented players.
    Cya later fellow Americans.

They have already posted the answer to your question there.

Also check out the EJ thread aswell.

To the Aris supporters, I would encourage you to take much of the Adu criticism you see here with a grain of salt. Many (not all) posting are "professional" Adu critics. These posters have no private training tapes, closed games or any other recent observations on Adu to give informed opinions. Many of them are just parroting what they heard about the 16/17 year old kid years ago. A cottage industry of sorts has developed of these people while many of the people more optimistic are silently waiting until he actually plays to comment.

They will make broad dated observations then say "but I really hopes this works out", but they don't. They don't want to be proved wrong.

They are like the buddy who on your wedding day to your 20 year old bride says. "I just thought you should know, when your wife was 16 she was quite promiscuous, but I really do hope things work out for you"

They don't hope things work out, they want to be able to say "I told you so" later, saying "I hope things work out" is just what you say for cover.

If you watch the few games with Monaco, Gold Cup and the start of the season at Benfica two years ago, you will know more about Adu's *current* ability than many of the commenter's here.

There aren't many other 20 year old Americans who were bing pursued by a EPL side and Aris this month. There aren't *any* other players who's every touch, ever moment on the pitch is micro analyzed (see post previous in this thread). The passions Adu stirs, both positive and negative should be an indication of the perception of his raw talent. As I advised earlier in this thread, trust your own eyes whatever the conclusion, I would not rely on people here for any unique perspectives on the player in question. You likely have as much or more relevant and timely information as we do.

    And rightfully so.

If they observe 2 training sessions they will have a better idea of where Adu is today than any poster here (myself included).

Yes, but its a smart and calculated move. If any of the talent does well they can sell them for a ton of money so its worth the risk. Probably helps in the present and potentially helps the club in the long term.
