The AO site is being redone (again ) because of this reason. A new setup for interacting with the chapters is being built.
There is an AO chapter in GR? I am a member and I need to get some info from you guys because I wanted to start a chapter here but I didn't have enough people. My email is dargad@mail.gvsu.edu please contact me.
Re: There is an AO chapter in GR? Well I am taking it from GRAO Pres post that there is already is a chapter. Also I am taking it from his name that he is the president of the chapter. Of course the only info I have is listed here. If the actually not one I would be more then happy to help you start one.
How does someone from GR become a Crew fan. I'm getting sick to my stomach and to think I thought all great Michiganders despised all things Columbus. Wish I knew AO was alive and well when I was still in Michigan. If/when I can get back there I will look you guys up.
I'm a Fire fan but Crew would be my second team. Have been to US Nat, MLS finals, and MLS matches there so I'm on their email list. What are the American Outlaws? Break-off from Sam's Army?
Is it just me, or does it seem a little odd that 'GRAO Pres' came on, thanked for the welcome of the new chapter, and hasn't logged on since he did that 1.5 months ago? I was curious how things are coming together for the GR chapter at this time, if anyone knows.
Perugina Best I can tell is that the guys that started AO felt the MNT was not supported enough at games. If they thought that Sam's Army was not doing the job I do not know. I have never seen it explained why they felt this way. From what I have heard is at some point Sam's Army was havening some organizational problems. These seems to be fixed.
I do not know what his problem is. The only people I know that have an issue with Ohio are people that care about UM or MSU throwball. As I went to neither school or care about their sports programs I have no issue with Ohio. Heres to not being a stereotype. Columbus til I die!
Wahoo! The AO website has been updated with new contact info for the local chapters. I was able to get in contact with the local chapter president. I am looking forward to watching US vs El Salvador with them.
Awesome! Glad to see it looks like we're moving forward with Michigan strongly reppin' for AO, with the GR chapter now in the loop, and a chapter for Detroit & Ann Arbor just a few members from becoming official. Congrats again to GR!
I've been a fan of Wolverine football since I was a little kid and have family ties to the University. So, you're right everyone is Michigan is not a "walmart wolverine". I still think it's odd that people from GR would support the Crew given Chicago is much closer for games and whatnot but that's just me.
When the MLS started there was not a team in Chicago. Columbus at the time was the closet team to us. And I was not going to change my allegiance just because a team started up in a closer city to me. With that said I reserve the right to change my mind if Michigan ever gets an MLS team. But I doubt this will happen any time soon.
