    Today's Guest: Dermot Gallagher
    ---

Dermont Gallagher, longest serving referee in the premiereship, author, fond of red and black, and level headed lad.

After twenty five years as a referee, Dermot has only just hung up his whistle as a top official. On the National list of referees for seventeen years and on the FIFA list for nine, he remains one of the most recognisable and respected of the men in black.

A budding footballer in his day, his love of the game brought him into refereeing and led him to officiating 14 international matches, 8 international cup finals, as well as the Under 20s World Cup final between Brazil and Argentina.

Nope, just a change. Graham did the show for a year, and everyone is very thankful for his insights and experience, but he's also a busy guy and the show is a volunteer gig afterall. :D

No, he just wasn't signed up forever, he only wanted to do it for a while. Maybe he'll be back in a year or so, who can tell.

Today's Guest: Rebecca Lowe, Graham Hunter
    ---

Rebecca Lowe, ESPN UK and champion [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4wIeDiMScI]interviewer[/ame].

Daughter of a BBC legend and ex-classmate of [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7RFCAAW5ME]Peter Crouch[/ame], Rebecca has become one of the more respected presenters of football in a very short time.

Graduating University in 2002, she began working at Talksport and shortly after joined the BBC as a football reporter. While greatful for the experience gained at the BBC, Rebecca desired a less safe option, and joined the ambitious Setanta Sports in 2007. When Setanta closed down in 2009, she was snapped up by ESPN, who had just established a UK station and acquired the rights to show the Premiership in the UK.
    ---

Graham Hunter, Revista de la Liga.

Graham is one of those league experts that knows way to much to be healthy. When you ask him "Does A + B = C", he'll not only answer that, but tell you how to arrive at that answer, how that answer would differ at La Mestalla vs La Rosaleda, and what the last 10 games were like for B defensively. On the road. During Februarys. Wednesdays.

    He's brilliant.

I actually missed the Micheal Sheen interview, but since the show is video archived on the Usteam site I got to see it a few hours later. The guy is a great actor, already an OBE, and was in a relationship with Kate Beckinsale..it's just not fair! :D

    Today's Guest: Tim Vickery
    ---

Tim Vickery, Columnist and a god.

The son of a reasonably skilled amateur footballer, Tim Vickery inherited all of the enthusiasm and none of the talent. But the game helped to hone his literary skills; despite never making it out of England until his mid-20s he could spell Czechoslovakia (a sadly redundant skill these days) by the age of 7 - all based on the fact that they had made it to two World Cup finals.

Since 1994 he has been based in Brazil, and he covers South American football for the BBC, World Soccer magazine, Sports Illustrated and SBS in Australia.

My bad, they had a show with Grant Wahl, talking about the USA-Honduras game as well as his pre game mugging. I was away and didn't find out until it was too late to modify the post. You can get the podcast or see the Ustream archive if you missed it like I did. ^_^

FYI, they have the live audio stream from Live365 set up now. People can just go to www.worldfootballdaily.com and click on the link during the broadcast.

Woody, if you are in contact with Steven and Kenny, can you ask that they put something up on their website on days that they bail on the show? I spent a couple of annoying minutes futzing around with iTunes because I wasn't getting a podcast for Tuesday and I "know" they are daily now. Finally thought, "hold on, I'll bet there wasn't a show", I went to WFD's website and nada... OK, probably means there wasn't a show but come on, have some respect for the fans and let us know.
