Welcome to the BigSoccer Equipment and Gear Forum SwapShop. Before listing items for sale, or requesting items through this forum, please familiarise yourself with the NEW forum rules, and the reprimands that will follow if these rules are not adhered to. If you wish to sell any items in this forum, you MUST POST IN THIS THREAD prior to starting a thread to say that you have read, and agree to, the rules outlined in this post. THE RULES This forum is for the trade and sale of SOCCER RELATED EQUIPMENT ONLY. Any unrelated sales listing will be DELETED and you will be YELLOW CARDED for spamming. This forum is for the trade and sale of personal items only. No commercialised selling is allowed, this includes (but is not limited to) dealers, vendors, resellers, and wholesalers advertising items. If you meet the criteria above and try to sell through this forum, or post a link to your online store, your thread will be DELETED and you will be YELLOW CARDED for spamming. Posting links to external websites for personal gain contravenes the Terms of Service that you signed up to when you registered with BigSoccer, however if you would like to pay for advertising please contact the Site Administrator, Huss. To sell your items here, you must be a member of BigSoccer for 90 DAYS OR MORE and have made 25 POSTS OR MORE in any BigSoccer forum. We do not appreciate Newbies using this forum to sell their stuff, as the success of this forum is based on trust between users, and Newbies do not breed trust. We check the profile history of EVERY POSTER who contributes in this forum, and if you break this rule you will be banned from this forum for three months – the duration of the time you were meant to be a member before posting. When selling, all products need to have a price. “Make offers” is not allowed. Firm asking prices are necessary unless you are running an eBay auction, in which case you can place the starting bid. NO PRICE CHECKS – i.e. “How much could I get for this?” Where possible, please do not make more than one thread. Keep all of your stuff for sale in one thread only. Bumping of threads will not be tolerated. You may bump your thread if you post the links to the eBay auction for the item or to respond to a question, or if you are dropping the asking price of your item by 10% or more, but any other bumping will result in your listing being removed and you receiving an infraction. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for unauthentic or counterfeit items. If you sell any fake or counterfeit goods on this site, all identifiable and personal information will be turned over to Trading Standards in your country and you WILL be reported to the authorities. Do not do it. Posting anything that pertains to “what a rip-off!” in another seller’s thread is not acceptable. Buyers here are well informed and if it’s not a good deal, they won’t buy it. Sellers have a right to ask any price they want, and buyers have the right to not pay it. A stickied thread is situated at the top of the page for feedback. This means that, much in the style of eBay, following a transaction you can leave a comment about how your transaction went. We strongly suggest that both buyer and seller leave a comment following a successful transaction, to build up reputation on the forum, and show that you are trustworthy. The Moderators are not Small Claims Court judges. If disputes arise we will make every effort to mediate and settle them, but please remember that BigSoccer is not responsible for any selling or buying on this forum – it is undertaken at your own risk. POSTING When selling your item, you need to ensure that the following rules are adhered to. You must clearly state “FOR SALE” or “WANTED” in the thread title. If you are selling an item, you must state the SIZE of the item. An example of a valid thread title would be: FOR SALE: Nike Mercurial Vapor SL Red/Gold, UK10/US11 If you recieve questions from members, we recommend that you post these, along with the answer, in your thread. The more information you put on your item, the more attention it will get. When your item is sold, please state this in your thread so a moderator can close it. If you do not adhere to the above your thread may be deleted until you can get it right! Finally, use your common sense. Be wary of members offering deals which are too good to be true, as nine times out of ten they probably are. We want to keep this a useful place for everyone, so don’t abuse the rules. If you have any problems please contact myself or another forum Moderator.
i have a question... how do we know if we have been a member for 90 days or more? and secondly how do we know if we have posted 50 or more times? thanks in advance for the response!
have read the rules, am glad you started everything from scratch! i will admit i have been guilty of bumping my threads....i claim ignorance, but no longer. and when i asked about the swapshop being subdivided into different size groupings, it was mostly because WAY too many people wouldn't include in the title the size of the boot they were selling, and wading thru threads to find my size boot was getting annoying. Thought if soooooo many people were too thick to include the size in the thread title, they could at least figure out which size sub-category to post in. anywho ill make a post right now and make sure it is completely up to standard.
Thanks for the feedback guys. Your points are taken on board, and trust me this forum will not be getting the way it was before, I will be keeping a strict eye on it. It's meant to be mutually beneficial to buyers and sellers, and I want to make sure it stays that way.
Click your username, and go into your profile. It tells you your join date, and your post count there.
I have read the rules and understand them. I am guilty of bumping as well. I love your new idea and think it will be more efficient for big soccer. Thanks Skizz p.s. is trading still allowed?
I have read and understood the rules. But are we aloud to bump a thread of something we want? Such as "WANTED: Vapor SL size 9"?
I understand the rules. It is kind of a bummer though, I have 4 pair of authentic adidas cleats I want to sell and I just bought some cleats from a member on here! Now that the swap shop threads have all been deleted, I am really paranoid about the authenticy and the sale itself now
who did u buy from? there is a buyer/seller feedback thread....if their username is in there, and they have good feedback, i wouldn't think there is anything to be worried about.
It's nothing personal, we just need to actively encourage contribution to the forums rather than having people who abuse BigSoccer as a place to sell stuff - that's what eBay is for. Who was it that you bought the boots from? Just because the thread has been deleted it does not mean it is a valid sale, I can resurrect it from the archives if need be.
I have read the rules, and believe I followed them... Fortunately, my item sold via eBay, so the revamp took care of me having to inform you about closing it.
I have read the rules and fully understand them and will follow them from here on in. My bad if I broke any rules earlier.

I think everyone broke at least one rule earlier let's just make an effort to make this a good place to sell stuff, the more organised it is the more likely you are to shift your stuff!
sorry about confusion, i clearly understand these rules ! i think the swapshop is working much more efficient now, keep up good work!
I have read and agreed to the rules. Thanks for helping to clear out a lot of the spammers/resellers.
