For once, I agree with Lalas, I wouldn't be risking too many first teamers tonight.

Jozy with a yellow, got to come off at half. We can't afford to be missing him for the first WC game (especially with Davies' situation).

And Gooch gets pimped by Ruiz. 1-0 CR.

    Lack of PT a factor?

    Earlier:
Casey has missed a wide open breakaway.

Centeno's blast was stopped point blank by Howard after being unmarked on the back post.

Jozy missed a header unmarked (though it was low) after's Casey's flick freed Holden.

Jeez, I can't even watch this. So much for playing for Charlie Davies.

    2-0 Costa Rica.

Nice combo off a throw in, Ruiz blows by Bornstein this time, and unleashes a thunderbolt from about 20 years, upper left 90.

Hearts are breaking all over Honduras tonight.

What the ******** is going on? What a breakdown, no defense, no midfield, wtf?
Looks like Bob decided to surrender this game and instructed players accordingly.

We look like a team that has already qualified.

We looked worse than this in some of the first five games of the hex.

    WTF, Donovan, WTF??!!!
    Yeah, they don't care obviously.
Why not use bench players then, Bob?

Only in the universe where that strips players of all talent and ability.

No heart. I shouldn't say this but we need to get over our sadness regarding Charlie. CR came to play. It looks like we cry and feel sorry for ourselves....

We have dolo and borstein on the outsides. My aunt's over 60 rec team could shred this line up. Very thin on the back line....hurry up and heel Edgar.....

we've been down 2 since minute 24. I'm just wondering if Robo Bob has any plan at all to get us back in the game? Altadore is the only one I like so far.

Boot Benny, bring in Torres. They've gonna bunker and franlley, Benny isn't doing much. Also, Casey's moment of glory is over. He's back to big stiff mode

I hate the way we play

with the great amount of emotion that has to be going through the players tonight, there were always going to be 2 possible results. the team plays inspired, or they lack focus and are just off all night. seems to me that they're emotions are getting the better of them and they just lack that focus needed at the highest level. overall the play is poor, but we've still had our chances, we've simply blown them. the second half should be interesting to see how the team comes out mentally.
