This is the new thread for the MIAMI MLS EXPANSION... Now I want everyone and anyone to put a piece of their mind into this, look at all other possible cities with no hope of expansion in their Forums and they are creative all the time even though they possibly have no chance at a team soon..

So us being Miami and being in Garbers tongue and mind when the thought of expansion arises, we should be blowing up this FORUM with new ideas everyday!! So in this thread I want to see creativeness and ideas for a MIAMI TEAM EVEN THOUGH there is no talk of an expansion team, so lets do this MIAMI!!!

    CREATE!!!!!:D

Sharks. Colors: Either Miami Dolphins colors, or orange, blue, and green. :)

Do this to market to everybody, not just a select demographic. And for Pete's sake, market the crap out of the team, so you'll get more than freakin' 800 a game!

Adobe Illustrator, but that's probably way advanced and expensive unless you're a graphic designer(like me). Try InkScape, it's free and does some of the same kinds of things(or so I've heard, never used it). If you want, head over to boards.sportslogos.net, sign up for an account and check out the concepts forums. You should be able to find some help and also templates to use for your ideas.

Hey Doc, you should probably go through a couple of the concept and expunge "FCB" from them. :p

Yeah yeah, but I'm too lazy lol.

Oh and for the record, the "Dr" doesn't stand for doctor, it's my initials.

Hey im kind of bored of the color scheme in the MLS, if Miami gets an MLS team maybe they can go purple like Fiorentina, just a thought.... Maybe be called Vice City FC, somebody had that name floating around here somewhere...

Im still for Magic City FC as well, but that wouls have to be like a vlue color scheme for the team though, unless purple could be like a third color jersey...

I want MLS in Miami already!!!

I love love love those striker uniforms. The clear winner to me, particularly with the yellow socks. No one in MLS has a look quite like that. Only one other team has hoops, but they are just boring red and white with red shorts. I like the contrasting black shorts.

I understand the sentiment that MLS is due for a purple team, but those Strikers uniforms are so striking, distinctive, and, indeed, classic, there really is no other way to go.

I cannot wait for a revival of the I-75 rivarly!

Well you got your wish about different colors, well not the purple, Their colors will be Red,Black & Yellow. Miami's/South Florida's team will be the Strikers, but in NASL for now. And they will most likely be rebranded the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers sooner or later. I too would like to see them in MLS.

I love the name AC Miami. It fits prefect especially if this is Beckham's expansion franchise.
