I have too much hate for Carle (he tried to punch me a while back), McDonald & Verbeek to hate Holman too much!

    But he does indeed suck.

He really is an enigma. Honestly how does he keep getting game time at AZ and how does he actually perform well for them. Maybe the Eredivisie really isn't all its cracked up to be.

    Haha, what? Backing story please!

Holman's improving. I can't say I wasn't happy when he was replaced with Carle, though, but it wasn't the usual "Holman does ******** all and ********s things up astronomically every time he gets the ball", types of days.

Was after the Club World Championship match, Central Coast V Newcastle, he was taking swings at everyone. He can't throw a punch, as the clip of him trying to swing at Beauchamp in HAL Season 1 is proof.

Don't think I've seen him play a good game ever.

In my opinion Brett has a very bright future ahead of him and should probably look for a move to England soon, a club like Tottenham would do him well where he would be able to get regular game time. I can see him becoming a prolific goal scorer for club and country. He will help Australia in continuing to get the recognition it deserves.

    Useless secondary account.

  13. In the Champions L. game against Standard Liege he was one of the better players and had an eye caressing assist for the 1-0 lead for AZ.

He's never going to be a Timmy Cahill or Harry, it'll always be a fringe spot for him but he does a decent job. Averages 1 goal in about every 4 games since being in the Dutch League, not a bad effort for a midfielder. He just needs to bring that to the International stage.

I really believe he is the Socceroo whose been picked out to be picked on by the fans, just like Luke Wilkshire was 4 years back and now Wilkshire is one of our top 5 performers. Irony is Skippy stuffs up so much but the talk is only about "when he scores his first he will go on with it".

    I stand by my statement.

PS. Not quite sure eye caressing is a healthy thing.
