Now that Di Santo is on loan at Rovers , what do you guys think his odds of getting regular playing time are?
This kid has potential, and this loan deal could work for him, no?:)

Hopefully, also if he gets regular playtime, we'll get a better idea of what he can give.

I agree, good for him as I think at Chelsea his talent was just going to rot away.

Well it is Chelsea and he has to make his way into first team. These are just stipulations of being this age in a big club in the Premiership. He wants to get on first team, he has to perform and show it. Loan is his chance.

This is what loans are meant for. :)

Any idea if he'll start or will he be a sub?

On August 5, 2009, Di Santo had his debut for Rovers at Ewood Park vs Hibernian F.C.. - wiki

Going over the Blackburn Rovers roster, they'll weed him in slowly. Yes, if he does what he is capable of at least good enough, they'll probably start him more often. For a team like Blackburn to get this quality of player, they better use him.

According to the Rovers website, the injury is a hamstring strain which we all know could heal quickly or stay around for ever. Hopefully he's on the quicker side of healing.

    Good luck to him.

I wonder what he is doing in EPL anyway.

couldn't hit a barn door at Blackburn...hopefully Wigan will be a good move for him alongside Boselli and/or Rodallega.
