Okay, the Sol face the Freedom for the first time on the road, after two wins at HDC. Game will be at 3pm PT, televised on the FSC. Here are the WPS notes on the game. I think that I'm going to try to find a sports bar/pub down here in SD that's willing to show the game on some of their screens.

Going to be a different game than usual and different line-up than the usual (see weekly injury, illness, reports). Will be interesting to see who is on the travel squad.

Game could be a big challenge for the Sol even though they have a lot of momentum and confidence going these days. A victory or even a tie would go a long way towards ensuring a championship game in August.

    Can't wait.

Line up on Matchtracker probably inaccurate. Can't see Boxx playing outside back and Larkin in the middle. Looks like Larkin most likely in to keep up with DeVanna. Debut of Shaner.

    Well, crap.

So, the cable&internet were out where I usually watch my Sunday night WPS action. I get home, manage to get my webcast up and running & the first play I get to see is Shaner's injury. geeze.

No. Not a good thing to see (or for Shaner to experience). Not a good thing at all.
